If I could find my Dreamcast keyboard, I'd buy TotD in a heartbeat.

I prefer them with Tostitos standard chips and some medium-hot salsa.
Not big on the cheese on chips thing. Then again maybe some chili with cheese would probably taste pretty good...

In this day and age preorders are a must unless its a game, and even then some games sell out like halo2 and lately zelda in the us. Screw preorders. Seriously. I shouldn't have to go to leaps and bounds to get a damn game that I might not even be guaranteed because EB only "has 4 copies left and they're for people who preordered." That's bullshit. Yeah, I know we're talking about consoles, but that's the same way. I should be able to, in this day and age, walk into a store and get a console without sitting in 30 degree weather, getting trampled, robbed or even shot at. It's fucking ridiculous.

I hoard. I do not get rid of my systems. Never even got rid of my small PS1 model despite I've had a PS2 for several years now.

One problem I see with this situation is a different approach in the next few years. While we cannot predict the future yet, there's always a possibility they could still make another system, but let's find out in 2011 or something.

I'm suddenly reminded of something Perrin Kaplan said about these issues. And half these look exaggerated.
Remember that you're not supposed to be throwing the things around, sillies!

I have a real hard time LIKING TrackMania. I don't think a game has ever given me as much frustration as that game.
Maybe Burnout 3.

Seriously get a better video card If you have an AGP slot I heard the GeForce 6 series of cards are good, bit pricey, though. If you got only PCI, a GeForce 3 or 4 Ti (NOT MX, 4 MX cards are souped up GeForce 2s) should work.

IMHO, Tool-Assisted Speedruns are stupid. With standard speedruns, you always get that "How does (s)he do it?" feeling, knowing some tricks.
Tool-assisted speedruns just go "Hey look at me! I'm using an emulator, savestates and slowdown features to show off my awesomeness! ...guys?".

I went to a couple stores in southeast Portland, and one place was completely crazy. (Pick your poison: Gamespot, 1UP or Livejournal. )

Er? no it's nothing like zoom, is a lot more like resolutions. In fact it is. So it's like a game only being on 640x480, and unable to change resolutions.

I'd find it quite sad if there was some sort of defect with the launch PS3s in the US.

Video Power. It was a video game variety show in the first season and a game show in the second. Never saw it but know about it.

I remember having those problems where the CD stopped reading and I'd be hit with "An error has occured".
I eventually sent it to Nintendo to get it fixed. I assumed something got loose when I accidentally dropped it on the floor several birthdays ago.
