One thing I never really mentioned here (but kinda plastered on my homepage) is that in addition to writing opinions/editorials/that sort of jazz, I review games, too. Sure, my reviews will probably never beat some people (*coughblazecough*)'s reviews, but at least I'm willing to try. My most recent review is F.E.A.R. for the PC. It's notable because I hadn't written a new game review in months (however the last game I reviewed was a re-reviewing of Doom on the SNES), so it got me back into the habit. Plus I'm apparently the 1200th person on that site to give it a player review. woo-hah. I've also gotten another milestone by being the first to review Black Dawn for the PS1. I have another review waiting in the wings, but Gamespot hasn't acknowledged its release yet. I REALLY wasn't sure if I could do this, but I saw Blaze post a review here and I thought it was good enough.

It appears you still haven't fixed that bug where Sonic can't move on during a curve if he's in a ball, only when he's running.
Plus I had a strange bug where the "MISSION FAILED" came up during the "get to the checkpoint in 30 seconds" one... after ten seconds.

It's like Hol 2 I'd actually compare him to Tails90... remember his abominations? Thank god I don't.

WRONG! A new theme was composed for Knuckles' Theme in "Sonic 3 only" on Sonic and Knuckles Collection. Corrected. :F

Okay, since I wasted my 200th post on a silly topic, I'll make my 201st post worthwhile! So, yes, topic for my written works if you haven't read them already: FATALITY! The History and Facts of a Video Game Controversy. (still a working title :E) Basically my near 30 (!!) page report on video game violence in the past few decades, with assloads of sources stolen from Wikipedia. Barely update this one. Recent update is basically more Jack Thompson bullshit But anyway, here's the other: Michael Jackson and Sonic 3. This is basically a summary of all the known events of Jackson's involvement with Sonic 3's music, with theories and assumptions abound! I recently updated this one with an interesting new discovery that may blow the whole case wide open! (Not really.) I got other stuff, but it's mostly non-written stuff. So yeah, read and be intrigued! (EDIT: Changed the link on Fatality.)

hahaha. Are you going to take it back for a white or black one? Yeah, but it'll have to be on the 26th, so it'll be a little while longer before I get my hands on DS goodness. Despite my dad continually insisting that I just play it anyway, I'd like to keep myself not look effeminate.

(Seriously, I got it as a pre-Christmas gift, and dad apparently wasn't paying attention.)

I confused this with Tim Buckley's "Winter-een-mas" crap for some reason.

I. SO. Hate. You. Guys. I want snow. ;_; In addition to that, all we got was stupid freezing rain that didn't last, stupid Portland. (Still the greatest city in the world regardless.)

Gamespot picked on Zelda because of it's hype and hype alone. I would debunk that but it appears my opinion is null as the overwhelming majority think they got an agenda or something. This ain't a conspiracy theory anyway. Or is it?

But like I said, he rated the game an 8.8 to prove a point more-so than rate the game on its merits and faults. Well, if you think Gamespot's out there to make great games feel bad, then that's your prerogative.

But that review was specifically written to bring down hype on a game. . All I can really say is that if you think that, you really don't know how their review guidelines work. The point the reviewer (Gerstmann) was trying to make was that TP shouldn't get an automatic 10 just because it's Zelda. While I have yet to experience TP in any way, shape, or form, he's probably right on some of the things he mentioned.

I'd have to side with Ashuku here. This is just a knee-jerk reaction because it didn't get 10s or something.

So, after getting home from randomly socializing with somebody, I go check my 1UP.com page as usual. Except something wasn't right in the clubs page. I usually have three clubs, one dedicated to a community, another to a (three month old) contest I won, and another club related to that contest that's basically "Where's my game?!". But suddenly, there was a fourth club. "Gaymerz". Some gay gamers club. I never remember joining it, I don't drink so I didn't join it in some drunken stupor, and I only access 1UP.com from my own computer. So, I do the following things: - Leave the club in question.
- Change my password.
- Activate the Windows firewall since the hardware's firewall wasn't enough.
- Go into a random stage of panic.
- Change my password at GameSpot too.
- Print out my text file with all my accounts and passwords on it.
- Delete said file (literally permanently delete it).
- Still be in a random stage of panic.
The same stuff happens to me when something else goes wrong, such as a game severely glitching or hardware failures. I mean, that's shit that I live with, and something I'd rather not lose (EDIT 1:30PM: According to this forum post some script kiddy found out ways to make people join clubs. Something needs to be changed if it's that easy to exploit. And now that I realized it wasn't something THAT severe...)

I've thought of some pretty strange fanfiction ideas, but never decide to bother writing them. And even if I did, I'd use a pseudonym so I would feel less embarrassed about it.
Like I've thought of a SatAM Sonic-SA Sonic crossover, or a Quantum Leap-like story with MGS's Big Boss.
