www.keithhemari.com/generalimages/MUAHAHAHAHA.jpgJust for the record that is a Celtic Short Sword which I aquired on my trip to ACEN... and yes my beard really is red, while my hair (in a pony tail, out of shot) is dark brown. And this is perfectly natural.. no dyes used. With my hair out of it's ponytail it reaches almost to my butt... but not quite. Yes.. THAT long. Who's the dirty hippy now, eh Zhan? XD

Truly every day is special. For can we not argue that each day is unique, having its own ups and downs and little moments of joy. We should cherish each day as it comes, and remember it fondly when we grow old. Each day is as a precious jewel and we must collect them, for we *SHOT* ow.. er... um.. what Sanius said.. or something.. Edit: HOLD! My dear friends, we are missing a very important clue! After exensive research, I think I have located the answer to his feindish puzzle! mooglecavern.proboards45.com/index.cgi?action=viewprofile&user=matrixxHis birthday XD

OK, I relate this only to give all you out there a good laugh.
For the last week I have been cursing my scanner, which has been jammed so that the little scanner bar won't move.
I fretted and fumed and cursed and contemplated.. until today.
Today I pulled the thing out to finally give in and open it up.
Hell, I thought, what more could I do to it? It doesn't work now, the worse that could happen is that it still won't work and I'll still have to get a new one.
So I unplugged it, looked.... no screws.. damn..
then I noticed a little switch.. up in the corner.. right next to where the scan-bar is.. it shows two positions, one marked 'locked' and the other marked 'unlocked'. It was halfway between them.
I quietly switched the switch to 'unlocked' and plugged it back in.
Lo and behold my scanner worked perfectly!
I sat, blinked, then laughed. I laughed loud, long, and hard..
my throat hurts now and I have tears in my eyes from laughing so hard, but I feel great XD
So, if ever you feel stupid, just remember this story and then I'm sure you'll feel a lot better XD

And you just know he'd be the kind of admin that'd use your IP to track you down and physically beat you if you violate a rule. Then he'd throw you in a trash can, stuff garbage down your throat and let YOU rot the way he was left to rot by his creators.. just because he's a mean ol' ball of angst.

YAY! A WIN!
Oh and I forgot:
The question that must be asked with this flash is: Did you start to bounce while you watched it?
I have to admit I did a little head-bob thing.. I couldn't help it XD

Kirk: Beam me up, Scotty.
...
Kirk: Scotty?
Bones: He's dead, Jim.
Kirk: Damn... wait.. so are you!
ok, with that taken care of...
Damn.. ah well.. he lived a full life, methinks and reached a ripe old age.
He shall be missed.

I'm just amazed someone in a major company actually came out and admitted making mistakes and said they'd do better without a lot of corporate double-talk and blame-dodging.

I dunno. I like Heroes. I'm not saying it's like TEH 1337 ROCKZORS or anything, but I still like to play it off and on.
Then again... that's how I play all my games: Off and on. I rarely spend hours sitting in front of my TV playing a game. I guess I'm a 'causual gamer' then..
*all gasp*
Er.. um.. how about the Myst series? Does that count? I can play that for hours! Yeah.. err.. *hides*

I dunno.. the smaller one is more funny, I think.
the idea of shadow riding on this tiny, low power moped.. hehe...
kinda reminds me of this guy that putts 'round here on his Moped. It's hilarious to watch, because the guy is way too big to ride it.. or so it looks anyway.. but he gets around just fine XD

Saying that Shadow the Hedgehog is 'rubbish' is way too definite a statement for a game not yet released. All we have seen have been promo shots and demo reels and none of us, I'd wager, have actually played it. Actually, Nikjam played the E3 demo when he went to E3. From what he said he didn't like what he was playing. So you want me to talk about possible game play aspects of the game? Okay I will. Let's start with the gun. Every single peice of footage I've seen has lead me to believe that the guns are unneeded and glitchy. I don't like the design of the gun nor do I think any thought went into the decision to give shadow the gun, and he just ends up looking stupid holding style clashing weapons bigger than he is. Next is vehicles. So far we've seen a dragon, a hover circle thing, and a motorcycle, with promises of an SUV to come. The dragon is the only one of those four things that seems like something that a character might actually need to right. All others end up looking goofy with Shadow riding them, almost as goofy as this from Blaze's Shadow of Chaos fangame: The Sonic characters have never NEEDED vehicles. Every vehicle segment in past 3D Sonic titles has been glitchy and unneeded. Eggman is the only character I've felt who needs a vehicle, because he's a human. Next is the subject of "Side kicks". Ally AI has never been a strong point of the Sonic Franchise and it doesn't look like this will be the first game to change things. Characters chatter constantly much in the way of Heroes, which can be annoying at times. Some of the sidekicks get in the way of the camera, preventing you from seeing the game, such as the Doom's Eye. It's also really unsettling to have Sonic reduced to nothing more than a sidekick, when he's the whole reason there is a franchise in the first place. The thought of the characters yapping at shadow to be good or bad also sounds very cheesy and almost embarassing. Them telling you what to do has no impact on what you will do. Next is the enemies. They don't exactly seem to be all that smart and they don't exactly look well made either. Thier polygon count is low, thier textures look washed out, and overall they just don't look very good at all. Next is the Melee attacking system. Melee attacks have never quite worked right in a Sonic game, especially since Sonic's trademark has always just been to spin into an enemy, which is always much more effective than trying to punch/kick them. It doesn't look like Shadow the Hedgehog improves this in any way whatsoever. In trailors of the game we've seen players attempting to use those melee attacks to take down enemies, but they usually just ended up killing themselves in the process, and instead resulted to a simple homing attack to take the opponent out instead, rendering the kicks useless. Last is the subject of missions. All previous Sonic games have had these in one way or another, but they never really seemed like something that worked. They always drag out the gameplay and frustrate most players by forcing them to replay the same stage multiple times with only small tweaks here and there to try to make it seem "different" I've felt that these kinds of missions would work much better if you were able to complete them all during one run, and get emblems based on which you did complete, instead of forcing players to replay the same stage five or more times to fully complete it. Stages which, during most of 3D Sonic's life, have rarely been anything more than linear and glitchy romps through pathways floating over bottomless cliffs. Developers shouldn't force a player to replay a stage, or the game in general, they should create a game good enough that the player will WANT to replay it over any over simply because it's fun, not because they need to to fully complete the game. Is that rational enough for you? Yes, thank you^^
