*Mope* I -like- Sonic R. My PC doesn't. Argle. But this thing better have the PC build of Sonic R. The Saturn one had... issues. Mainly lack of polys. Tails the snub-nosed fox. And Knuckles with a drab on his head. The only one who looked decent was Sonic... but the PC one looked far nicer. Maybe they'll just port the Saturn's loading screen! It was the best part of that version! Shiny! I hate unlockable games. I bought the damn thing, so just let me play them! I HAVE NO PATIENCE AND I FEEL OLD! I want to play Bare Unckles before I go senile =(. In most ways the PC version rocks. The poly-models are better and the weather effects are nice some of the levels look much better but. Radiant Emerald doesnt have the same kinda shine it does in the Saturn version. Maybe it's just nostalga but I swear I remember it being more bright and shiny and all see throughish more than you can get on PC. Also apparently the GG games are unlockables, dunno about the other games

Well, first of all, Welcome back, Darth!
Back to the main topic, though. Streets of Rage is a fun game series; I've only beaten the first two, but I have a ROM of the third one that I've been playing off and on (Muhh. I should really set Gens to run at full-screen and play it with my PC gamepad, so that I get nearly the same experience as I got with the first two games). Although it isn't quite Sonic, it fits in the collection because it's made by SEGA, I guess. Granted, that opens the door for a lot of games that aren't Sonic to be on this collection.
Hm...they should just change the title to "SEGA Gems Collection" or something like that.

Darth! Woah. Shocking. Welcome back. And I agree, SOR > BK.
Anyway, I remember hearing that it is the PC Sonic R that is getting ported. And to who was saying that Radiant Emerald lost it's shine - yeah. I read that somewhere (GHZ perhaps?) that they had to change the effect on the PC version for some reason.

Bonanza Bros. is a action game that came out on the Genesis. You played the role of thieving brothers where you get to steal certain items that was given on your assignment in a certain amount of time. It is played on a horizontal split-screen and up to two players can compete against each other to get the highest score. It's been a loooooong time since I've played the game, but I do remember having fun with my brother playing it. More info: www.rottentomatoes.com/g/sega_genesis/bonanza_bros/overview.php

Bear Knockles, Bar Knuckles, whatever it is it has B's in it. I want my Knucles! It is sexier than Streets of Rage! And has more to do with Sonic via the Sonic Drift 2 ref.
I am still looking forward to having Sonic: The Fighters finally coming to the home. Bark is neat. I just like his design. Fang's neat, but not as huggable. Hug the bear!
Bonanza Bros.!?!... it's -immoral- to be a theif. That's why Cookie Crisp was ruined. These days, Chip's a... wolf? Cookie-hound? BOOZE-HOUND? Who the hell knows. I just want my cereal theif back =\ and his pet human!
At least the bonus games are decent ones. Besides, they're unnecessary add-ons. Why complain if you won't use them anyhow?

Death by Degrees was enough! No more, please!

I know! I WANT BEAR KNUCKLES! ... Bark~! BARK BARK BARK! I'll be quiet now. But seriously, I am looking forward to this. Tails is such a psychopath, too. Creee-py. And I like Amy too. A model for young girls everywhere! You can be feminine -and- rain murder down upon men! It's sunshine and roses!

As cool as that Bark pic is, he looks incredible homosexual considering that he strikes me as the butchest Sonic character

You know you love him. Admit it. You must hug heeeem.
Considering that's how I draw anyway, it's not suprising. I like cute. Cute is fun. But cute is automatically associated with women, thus Bark comes accross as being less than manly.
But you still love him. Espio's scary though. And a cheap fighter. Kill.

I know! I WANT BEAR KNUCKLES! ... Bark~! BARK BARK BARK! That's a likeable drawing, but Bark never looked that cool in Sonic the Fighters. His proportions are funky, he's hunched over, and he glares. You could maybe call him "bad-ass" or "cold," but he's certainly not down with the Sonic-style "jivin'"...

Oh my god, I remember Bonanza Bros. Though for some reason, I thought it was Blues Brothers.
This collection gets even worth more every time, but really, Sega, why nothing but Genesis unlockables? How about some of those Saturn to PC ports or something? They all cant take up that much space.

How about some of those Saturn to PC ports or something? Like what? The only Saturn ports I'm familiar with would be Sonic 3D and R - and R's already on it. We got 3D as a Megadrive version (which I suppose the people at Sega find adequate enough....) and erm... what else?

I'm surprised Bug hasnt had a re-release, It doesnt look too shabby IMO for a early 3dish platformer. Plus I wanna play it again :<

The MD version of Sonic 3D Blast was lame. Oddly, -every- version of that title was different! Sure, the levels were the same between Saturn and PC, but the bonus stage was totally different for the PC. Saturn had the full 3D bonus stage. The PC had a mostly sprite-based tunnel crap thing like in Sonic 2. It was cool back then, but for a 32 bit era title? Phhhbt.
I love hi-res early 3D Sonic models.
And Bark does too look kinda like that. Maybe a little short. And he's posing! Argle argle =D.
Considering he was only in two games... and one of those was a guest spot anyhow. Megamix.

Although, you can't deny the MD incarnation of Sonic 3D was impressive in the sense that it pushes the Mega Drives capabilities pretty much as they could go.
And Bark wins for one reason, he has a pony tail. The end. I totally forgot he was in Megamix too.
