That's just people who can't draw their subject matter themselves. I... have used it once or twice, but hell if I know how to draw an open bear trap, or to recreate a detailed enough screenshot of Smash Brothers Melee in Paint.

OK, now I REALLY need to dig up that blasted Sparkster cartridge which I've TOTALLY GIVEN UP on getting dumped. (I even bought my own blasted copybox and the thing goes haywire if I try to load the cartridge through it so SCREW IT).
Peeyem me on my regular (admin) account where I'm supposed to send it to. =o

Understood. I've noticed that too, for some reason. I haven't the foggiest why it's so hard to understand that I'm not the main Moogle man. I mean I plug this place on the front page of my site, sure, but I do state that the place ain't mine. Maybe I should make it clearer or something, I dunno. =\ And yeah, the fact that I'm using the admin account over here ain't helping either. XD

Yeah, the hint mints have a weird way of talking. But they're helpful, at least.

Ah, I mean I was referring on where to find the Skitter scarabs. 'Cause those are in the cuttable bushes in the forest past the two-house collector village. Any other bushes besides cuttables are just background/obstacle.

Myeah, you just need to head left from the place where the collectors are. I overlooked that one for a little while as well. And they're not random - you really have to look in the right places (and defeat a boss for the 4th and last one).

The walking speed didn't bother me much until I actually obtained the Darkness spirit (whose first ability is a dash, for those not in the know). =P

So I've been playing this recently translated game just now, and I liked it enough to tell you guys about it. =P "Guardian of Paradise is a fun little Zelda-ish game by Buster, who you may know as having created Akuji the Demon. GoP casts you as Tela, a boy whose sister has fallen ill. Nobody knows what's wrong with her, so there seems to be no cure, but legends tell of healing waters in Paradise, so Tela sets out to find the fabled land and save his sister. He encounters elemental spirits along the way, which provide magic, and the basis for the game's puzzle system." agtp.romhack.net/rakuga.htmlReally well-made game, here. I advise you all to give it a shot. It's kinda linear, and not nearly as lengthy as your average Zelda adventure, but it's a solid and really good game for the five or so hours it'll take you to finish it. Well animated, well thought-out puzzles that incorporate all five different elemental spirits (Wood, Water, Wind, Darkness and Fire) and the way how you switch between them and use their powers.

I don't think it CAN be a hoax. This information matches up exactly with that scan from all those years ago. It's just, now, we get a chance to read the entire booklet rather than a single, poorly-scanned page. Exactly - the known scan was of a single page. Where'd the rest of the booklet suddenly come from? Again, I may not have any reason to be skeptical, but here I am anyway. I've downloaded the file - will check it out later today soon as I've installed Winrar on this computer (I'm not at home, as my currently used account would imply)

Huh. Some of those things hit the nail on the head so hard in a "so they DID know back when what we're demanding for today" kind of way, it's starting to make me wonder if this isn't just some cleverly devised hoax. But, I'll withhold my actual call on this until I've downloaded and actually viewed the manual. Interesting find, either way.

Hey, from what I recall of reviews, even The Simpsons: Hit and Run was considered one of the better Simpsons games around. I suppose it's still not saying much, but there you have it.
The game concept interests me, even if I don't really read Penny Arcade. (I keep meaning to, but I can't get myself to dig through the whole archive.)

(although the wall-slide is just Megaman X-esque enough that I find myself subconciously holding down the "fire" button when I have the fire flower) I still do that myself - not so much for the MMX thing, but moreso because of the extra "hold run button" momentum. =P
