Good grief - how could this golden comedic bit of Engrish have been missed by us for so long? Google says this typo has been around since last May. ;;

In other news, I got a DS Lite; little did I know... -It was a Jap import. which I didn't really want Was it the white color? Nope, Enamel Navy. That's the reason I actually confused it for an early-fied Euro release; first off, the price was significantly lowered since the last time I was in that store; and secondly, I figured "Perhaps the people mistook the navy color for black. Let's get it! =D"

Oh that's right, I was interested in Nimh as well. I dunno, unless there's any game in the ones I mentioned that you want, I guess I'll be paying for it.

Yeah, if you have a girlfriend- (snip) I think that's the entire point, right there. ;P Unless Kiddo has a sniplet of news to mention that I conveniently missed. In the case he does not have a girlfriend, his goal is a whole lot less sickening (that's to say, in a "at least he's not actively considering cheating on someone" standpoint).

My new years resolution is to stop procrastinating so much. Also, losing weight. Huzzah for cookie cutter promises to myself that I probably won't keep anyway.
And instead of resolving to "stop smoking", I'll resolve each and every year to never start in the first place. So far so good.
1 hour and 38 minutes to pie newyear.

I learned that Naruto, upon watching it, is actually much more enjoyable then I initially gave it credit for. I also learned that animé sniplets some guy I know "thinks are cool" are only actually cool in context. I learned that I really would like to learn to play the piano. I learned that voice acting for flash cartoons is a good way to get known among people. I learned that I am actually quite able to draw something nice, if I just put some more effort into it. I learned that deadlines should be handled as quick as possible, not waited out till the last possible minute. I'm pretty sure I learned more this year, but likewise - I can't remember some things offhand.

Well. After fiddling with everything I can imagine, and later trying to connect using the SAME software, with the SAME dongle on a different computer that uses no router, and getting the SAME error messages... I have a feeling there's something wrong with either the installation software or the dongle. Thing is, what I forgot to mention (and disregarded as it seemed to be fixed later), is that something DID go wrong during the installation of the software. Upon retrying however, it went on as would normally be expected. However... Whatever it is that goes wrong, it consequently seems to keep going wrong every time I try to cleanly install it (i.e. removing it completely and reinstalling the software again). See, what happens is the following: First, I install the software - during installation it asks me to plug in the WiFi connector. I plug it in, and the installation seems to proceed, except that when Windows tries to butt in with its "NEW SOFTWARE FOUND " message, the installation software hiccups, gives a "White Cross in a Red Circle" error, and urges me to plug the WiFi connector in again - even though it's already plugged in. So I disconnect it and replug it, the program installs, but gives me the side note that "something went wrong, and the hardware may not work correctly". Afterward, I unplug the dongle, restart the installation software, and at this point everything happens as it should. Note that the same happened both at my own computer and the one I am on right now - which belongs to my mom's friend and has no connection whatsoever with my own. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, but like I said, it delivers the same result - complete with the same error messages. I get the feeling I ought to contact Nintendo's support service at this point. =\

The DS comes packed with the EXACT same adapter that comes with the GBA SP. Technically, it has a different label, shape and product number. Mine doesn't. XD I compared to the GBA SP adapter of one of my friends.

Oh...well.... I haven't really been playing the multiplayer mode, so no comment there. c_c
And it's only 2 players because there's only 2 characters in the game. If you wanted a multiplayer racing game, you might have wanted to buy Mario Kart instead. ;P

I'd wait for Sonic Rush, as its only just like the other Advance Sonic games. Pits of death, uninspired level design, etc. I beg to disagree. The Sonic Advance games never did captivate me a lot, and to this day, remain among the only Sonic games I have yet to finish, together with Chaotix and Segasonic Arcade. They suffered a lot from "You're being hit and thusly you stand still, kill the badnik, then plod on your way again, carefully maneuvering past row after row of spikes, stand still, rev up a spindash to gain momentum for this totally unneccesary looping, hit a vertical spring on the side and stand still again, hit the spring, accidentally jump too far, then fall into a pit and die" moments. Whereas Rush... honors the name it's been given. Played right, the game really is a "as few stops as possible" experience. I do agree that there's a lot of bottomless pits in the game, but hey, there's gotta be SOME danger and challenge to it, right? Badniks are still a hindrance though, but that's to be expected. At least they're short work when being boost-dashed into.
