Oh. Yeah. You usually have to do that three times. The main goal is to get a bigger amount of power than your opponent. It's just a matter of timing.

I predict the price drop will most likely happen next year. Not so sure if MS's gaming division would pull a ballsey price drop this year--at least in the US where the system is actually selling.

But at the same time, they ARE reading some things with HD-DVD playback. Not just the adaptor, supposedly. So they might shift prices down a bit on the existing packs to further compete with the forthcoming PS3.

And I predict the price drop will be a measly $20 lower.

I will take it. I'll use that toward something else. A Wii Nunchuk, perhaps.

Yeah, even if it's $20, that's an extra game for me. And there've been rumblings of a price drop or a bundle for a while now. Apparently a Gamestop employee even reported "XBOX 360 PGR3 BUNDLE" got entered into their database a while back, didn't they? Although, reading up on it, it seems that was Canada only. Bummer. Too bad I live in Colorado, it might actually be worth it to hop the border and buy it over there. I'd settle for this, though. I don't even want GRAW, but free is free, and it comes with Geometry Wars, too.

Man, screw Altitude Limit. Sonic Rush is the hardest Sonic game I think I've ever played. It doesn't really feel quite as cheap as the Sonic Advance games, it's just... difficult. It primarily feels unfair because it gives you a button for an instant-acceleration dash manuver and there's quite a few moments where you're supposed to slow down and hit a switch or something. But instead, you want to keep the momentum up so you land and hit dash and go "shit, I was supposed to press that button to make some platforms appear" and you careen off into a bottomless pit as as a result.
Grinding sucks, too. You'll be tapping the A button doing some tricks coming off a spring, land on a grind rail, and because you're still tapping A... you jump off the grind rail accidentally and straight into a bottomless pit. There are a few other objects you interact with where the exact same thing happens. You'll be tricking along, catch on to a zipline or something, and accidentally jump off of it.
Pisses me off to no end. Situtations like those are where I lose 90% of my lives.

Altitude Limit was indeed a bitch, and I'm glad I eventually got out of it. It's mostly just level memorization, really. I hated the bit where you have to hang on to... a propellor, was it? And dodge enemies upward. One hit by an enemy meant bottomless pit (or Laser barrier) death.

Next to the last stage, yeah. After Altitude Limit is Dead Line, which is actually easier than Altitude Limit. I'd say Altitude Limit is the hardest level in the game.

You can use R, you know. Trick without leaving the rail.

I am well aware. But it's easy to accidentally hit the A button one more time than you're supposed to.

Having played Hulk a bit yesterday - long enough to clear two bosses (which takes quite a while) - it's pretty awesome. Thinking of going back to it right now. It's getting really hard, though. The previous boss (giant hulkbuster mech) took me a few tries to defeat. I like how the deeper you go, the deeper the game gets. Every chapter adds more new moves for you to purchase, and eventually you start clearing chapters faster than you can buy moves. There's a ton to do here. It's not quite as varied as a GTA game, but it's fun as hell.
