Capcom is certainly expecting major sales on the PSP.

Actually it is probably because the DS isn't as powerful as PSP and I bet, like most developers, if they can't find a use for the 2nd screen in their game, they don't make it.

BoF3's graphics look horrid by the standard of whats on a PSP. Rockman Dash's graphics look alright, though, but it's also horrid by the standard of a PSP.

There's a subtle difference between a port and a remake.
No doubt they're retooling the game to make use of the second screen somehow.

#1 - Breath of Fire 3 sucks. Why are they porting it? It's pretty much, hands-down, the worst of the series and vastly boring. It's the only RPG I've ever played that has litterally made me fall asleep while playing it.

#2 - Certainly the DS would be a better home for a Megaman Legends port; Megaman 64, anyone?

On the contrary, I think the whole Breath of Fire franchise is average overall(though I admit I've never played Dragon Quarter) and yet, I find that Breath of Fire 3 was the best out of the BoF games I've played.

Still, these ports are not really the games to motivate me to purchase a PSP of my own.

Well,

A) It wast at least 7 years ago that I'd played BoF3.

B) I'd gotten up to some part involving a forest and chopping wood, which was a minigame that was NOT my idea of a good time.

I only played Breath of Fire 1 and 2 on the GBA, and they are deadly boring.

Oh, and Dragon Quater (although I don't consider it a BOF game.) Which was pretty fun if it weren't for it's evil "you die, you restart the game" gameplay.
