Well it looks better and all to a degree but the edgyness wasnt bad, it would of worked for Loonatics like the simple rounded shapes work for the characters in Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends (Bloo has to be one of the most simple shaped animated characters to ever grace TV).
I'm hoping this wont be all serious Super hero stuff though, if it can be anything like the Batduck cartoons from Tiny Toons that would rock becasue those were hilarious. In fact, I want it to really be something like Tiny Toons, Animaniacs or Freakazoid.

I assume you mean Darkwing Duck. Do not mistake the terror that flaps in the night. (Heck, just found out it is still on Toon Disney [Mon-Fri 1pm, and 1:30am every day], but apparently not the European version of Toon Disney so I'm screwed) And personally, I wouldn't mind it going for somewhat serious action, but it would have to be pulled off well to work. Humourous is easier because you can quickly explain off plot holes, crazy villians and improbable scenarios with just a few jokes. The more serious you get, the more work you have to put into making the world consistent and sensible so that the program can be taken seriously.

Nah, Batduck was a little parody that was on Tiny Toons itself. He managed to have no eyeballs and did just fine! Plucky always did love the super hero parody... *cough* like the Toxic Revenger, was it?...
Frankly the eyeballs are the scariest part of all for the new designs...

Wot Bluetail sed
Yeah Darkwing Duck is a good example too but Plucky really made the whole super-hero thing funny. I doubt WB can top that again, if they do I shall dance for joy

What did he all poor Hampton? The bulls-eye on his stomach was just endearing! Violence to the sidekick!
Cute, though, how the female character has to be a feggin' healer. Make the Taz-clone carry around some band-aids. It'd be funny.

Reading message board commentary tends to be half of a show's apeal for me. Good or bad. Although to this day I always base my enjoyment of anything on my own experience with it. How disturbing.
"Magical Energy Spheres."
ROTL much. for some reason, seeing that quoted makes me giggle. For that matter, all of the quoted items made me giggle.
I wonder how this show will turn out. I question whether or not it will hit the equivalent of 4kids licensing a good show. It'd be hilarious.

Amusing little thing. D: I took a look at IMDb for "Rob Paulsen", the VA for the roadrunner descendant, and this was listed...
" Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (2004) (VG) (voice) .... Ninja"
...Now true, the man's VAed a ton of other characters, but... once you read that, doesn't the mental image of the roadrunner saying lines from MGS1 come naturally afterwards? D:
... "That's it, Tech E.! Hurt me more! Make me feel alive again!"
...sorry. D:

I dunno if that was really as funny. Felt like they were trying too hard to catch a joke just to make commentary on the industry (not that I mind that, though, just doesn't make good comedy).

I'm not sure it was meant to be as much about humour advancing the creators opinion on the event. And from my perspective, I don't think animation should be about what kids want, I think it should be about creative individuals expressing themselves through such a fluid and expresive medium.

As a former kid I can say that kids have no f*cking idea what they want.

kids want expressive designs and over the top vpoce acting and confrontation where good and bad are black and white and the battle between them is done in a direct manner with no confusion on who you should and shouldn't be cheering for.
