FWUFFY THING!
Yah, it's not like an 'omg u hate cathy die plz =((((', just that it's not entirely awful from a certain deranged point of view. Her husband is... oddly and unrealistically docile. Cathy's not in ownership of the best spine in the world, so the probability of them being able to not dislike or hate each other's lack of spine... is minimal. Yes, it has problems =D WE ALL HAVE PROBLEMS! MWAA HAA HAA.
Foxtrot is still total love though. Snow men? Pah, that supercomputer whose name I have temporarily forgotten from Hitchhiker's is way bettar. Nerd humor. Tee hee hee.

You can diss the comic, but you so can't diss the cartoons. Fucking LORENZO MUSIC, man.

You can always tell how Lio was supposed to be funny. But then you, you know, don't laugh.
Another vote against Cathy and Family Circus as well.
Blondie is funny when the joke's actually new, which happens once a month or so.

The Born Loser is actually funny somtimes.
Mutts is adorable. Sometimes the jokes aren't funny at all, but the art is just plain cute.

Dang, I all forgot about "Flo and Friends"--but it's understandable on how cringeworthy it is. *deadpan* ha. ha. ha. I especially dislike the subtitle "Aging with an Attitude". ...the hell? There is no witty sass in this comic or will you find an eXtreme take on senior citizens. All it is a several panels of groan-induced mess which I believe even the demographic of this strip would find funny. Crankshaft also appeals to the same demo, but at least that strip can be humorous. Also there is a way to make the Garfield strips funny. Just remove all of Garfield's thought bubbles: Now it becomes of dark humorous comic of a pathetic man talking to his cat. Speaking of no Garfield, has anyone been reading the recent arc dealing with the Jon-Liz relationship? It's quite good, surprisingly.

Speaking of no Garfield, has anyone been reading the recent arc dealing with the Jon-Liz relationship? It's quite good, surprisingly. I need to read the ones that I missed of that. It reminded me of some of the stuff Garfield comics used to do, like Garfield going off to find his mum, or when the arcs kind of had downers at some points. I remember finding a copy of "Garfield: His Nine Lives" at a thrift store while I was killing time a few months ago, and if it wasn't so badly beat up I would've bought it. That book was so surreal, I remember reading it as a kid.

I really actually enjoyed that topic you linked, Jolly. It's really intriguing and humorous on many levels.

Garfield gets a pass because it was awesome for 20 years. It's sucked for 6. Still a pretty good rate of return.
Anyway, can I nominate... everything? Except Dilbert?

You'd better unnominate Calvin and Hobbes before a terrible death befalls you...

You'd better unnominate Calvin and Hobbes before a terrible death befalls you... Not in any papers around here! If we're talking old comics, there are quite a few worthwhile ones. To mention another, I'd say I could never say a bad word about either Far Side or C&H. ...but this topic is about bad comics. Like all the other ones.

Wasn't there a time where a bunch of artists traded strips on the same day?
