Given that, as I understand it, the point is that he's mentioning that he has exceeded 1000 comics (if I read the count right, it's currently 1020), I think an exception is allowed. Less of a blatant "Visit my site and make my page hits go up!" Type thing and more of "Hey, guys, check out this!" Kind of thing. I can live with it.
Congrats, by the way, Fad. You've beat me out by more than twenty times! Should have said this in my earlier post, but I was too busy tooting my own horn.. although that was more like blowing on a kazoo than anything remotely horn related.

Well there have been a few more Sonic 1/2's (for a current running total of 44), but the outlook for more is not good. Currently working on something more original, which is looking much better, although running late.

Okie dokie.. well.. you know mine.
You know what's crazy? One of my friends has, voluntarily, more than a dozen AIM names. Why? I don't know. She just changes it every so often. Although she's stuck with the one she has now for a while now.. *eyes the screen name warily*

This is the first year I've felt like that, probably just because I'm not able to give any gifts this year, which is what usually gives me the "Christmas spirit." Well dang, if it's Christmas Spirit you want, then here you go: XD

I likes me some Eggnog. No alcohol, though. Don't know why you would want to foul up good eggnog with alcohol.
Mm... 'nog.

*blinks* was that the one with the camels singing "We Three Kings" And the character arguing over "Here We Come A-Wassailing"? Because if that's the one I'm thinking of, you totally rock for remembering it and posting the title. It has almost two decades since I saw that!

I remember Mickeys Christmas Carrol... I want to see that again.
And, of course, How the Grinch Stone Christmas, and A Charlie Brown Christmas... and you've just 'bout posted all those I can readily think of.

On the other hand, I think Star Fox 2 is running smoother. Especially the later, more complete version.

I would say that internet relationships are generally a bad idea. I speak from double experience. But, it really depends on the people. Sometimes they can work and sometimes they can't. The safe thing to do would be to avoid it, but then you loose you either way.

Something odd started happening yesterday. It seems to be random, but if I click on a link, it seems like about a fourth of the time I'll get an 'Server Not Found' error, but, then all I have to do is to his 'Refresh' and the site will load up just fine.
Could there be something wrong with my compy? Or is this more likely an issue on my hosts side?

I like lots of different kinds, but lately I have had a taste for sausage, pepperoni, green peper and pepper jack cheese(in addition to the regular mozzarella).

Yeah... you know, that's one game that I think could really benefit from this new era of gaming. The premise itself is simple, and the execution couldn't be easier. It just needs updating to it's graphics and sound. I mean, if Oblivion can be made, surely LOOM can. Imagine... full 3D, high quality audio with a Myst-like semi-ambient soundtrack.
ahh, to dream a dream.

and, on the subject of Old School games, does anyone remember an old game called LOOM? I dunno if it really a platformer, more of a click game, but since we're also talking about old games we've played... Oh what I wouldn't give to play it again...

I told people it would be cool! And they wouldn't believe me. But heck, that looks cool! Cool is the keyword here. I'm really psyched! This looks like the fulfillment of a decade of imaginary battles and spit-flinging explosion sounds. And I mean that in a good way! This kind of stuff is exactly what I've always imagined (give or take a design ethic or two) when I played out Transformers scenarios with my toys. Big action, explosions and bots kicking each other into buildings. If I had any doubts about this movie, this trailer has alleviated a great many of them.
