Me Sci-Fi Channel Animation is online!

Those who read my blog will know that me and some of me mates did animations for the Sci-Fi UK Channel recently, and now they are finally online on their website for people for vote on, with the winner/s(?) being aired on the telly!

See if you an guess what movies each one are references to, some are more obvious than others! You have to sign up to the website to vote, but it doesn't take long so please do so! =D

Oh, and just a quick note: The video player on the site uses Quicktime, and works best in Internet Explorer, as Firefox messes up the layout a little, so you have to click what you can see of the video for it to show up propers. That is all!

Wait wait wait wait...Scifi channel are doing an animation competition? Wh...when did this get announced o___o; By your comments on the blog it seems like it was something specific to your college/uni course? With the scifi folk coming to you and all. Any more information you could forward to a fellow animator?

I've been a fan of your animation style and while this is different from most you've put on the net thus far I really like it, thumps up with the joint win and the fancy camera/mp3/video/fancything.

Just a heads up incase your interested BBC Three is also doing an animation style contest esc thing. Their looking for short under two min comedy sketch animations for a new show. Much like this their going to take the best 60 and place them online for people to vote on. I just found out about it today and the final deadline is December 31st, which...really doesn't leave a whole lot of time to work on it. I don't know If I'll have time to actually work on it with uni and all, but getting it on TV and making money for once is a good reason to work overtime eh ;p

Yeah, they more or less came to us, because one of the guys who works there used to be a tutor at our College. Their trying to get more from our college to maybe submit animations as well, so they can build up a strong collection of 20+ animations, before they start airing them.

Gee whiz, the Moogle crew are all a bunch of winners, huh? I recall Kulock winning a game pack some time ago, I won my name in the Metal Gear Solid Substance contest several years back, we all know the winning mischief Blaze has been up to, and if I hadn't missed any more, now there's you... =P

The only thing I've ever really won is a bike in an all-school raffle and a subscription to dA in a contest that I think I was the only one who entered.

And trust me, I've entered a lot of contests.
