I have a Mew now. I feel like it's 1998 again!!!!
I was happy that most of the people there weren't little kids. There WERE little kids there, yes, but I talked to the big group behind me. There were two little kids who...actually knew how to play Pokemon rather than just being "OMG PIKACHU IS CUTE HOW DO I BEAT MOUNT MOON".
I was also impressed because there is this...sort of "challenged" guy who's worked there as long as I remember. He's really nice but he's been seemingly getting worse as time goes on. He was the one operating the Mew cartridge so I was pretty...like I guess it's weird to say "impressed" but it was nice because I guess it's more of a speech impediment than an actual deficiency because he definitely knew how to use the game and the kids behind me said he plays Pokemon and battles them a lot. He's a nice guy. He just had a hard time pronouncing "Girafarig", is all. (That's what I traded in for Mew I just randomly caught one at the Safari Zone before going today)
Anyway, the website said they would provide a Game Boy for you to use so I only brought my Emerald cart...but they did not!!! So I asked the group behind me if I could borrow theirs and they very kindly lent me it. They were great. I talked to them They were all " THIS KID HAS 321 POKEMON IN RUBY!!?!?"
Anyway, the cartridge Nintendo sent in was pretty funny. I checked the trainer card. 385 Pokemon, beat the E4 in 6 hours...The trainer's name was Red but the Mew's original trainer was "Mystry". CONSPIRACY also no vowels except for "y".
Anyway it was a lame wait but hey I got Mew lol.
