Yes yes, I know - Luckett's banned. Still, I think that regardless of that, this animation deserves a topic in here; if not for Luckett's marvelous animation, then at least for the fact that I voice acted for Bob Havaar. =P So yeah, our collaborative efforts (as well as a number of other peoples) brought forth episode one of an epic story about a boy and his potato waffle. So uhm... Available at Deviant Art (musicless), Newgrounds, and even its own site. www.wafflex.com/episode1.htmlThoughts? Commentary? Criticism? All such are welcome.

Cheap copy and paste of what I said on SFGHQ:
It's hit-or-miss. Some parts were pretty funny, others: not so much. I really dug the Monocle Magpie, but the way Bob Havaar himself speaks seems a bit too arbitrary. It'd be okay if he did something like that every now and then, but almost every line out of his mouth is like that. It makes him look mentally deficient.
But hey, not too bad, really!

I always pictured him as being mentally deficient. I'm pretty sure those exact words have been insulted to him on at least one occasion.
I laughed my ass off.
Edit: You make a good havaar. What was heard of waffle's voice sounded odd, but it was only a single line.

That was alright, but man that was short.
Good animation.

This is awesome with an added layer of AWESOME. In fact, Japan is already planning to make their own version of the series:

Personally I liked the comic better, but this animation does show promise.
