Super Mario Bros (NES/500pts)
Super Castlevania IV (SNES/800pts)
Street Fighter 2 (SNES/800pts)
R-Type (TGX-16/800pts)
ToeJam&Earl (Sega/800pts)
I'm not surprised Super Mario Bros. showed up because Military Madness was the first game not scheduled for December to show up (and it came out this week) but the other two not-scheduled-games were completely out of left field and I bet they will satisfy!!!
R-Type for 800 points is, um, something else though. TurboGrafx games are supposed to be like 600. OMG GOOD GAME INFLATION
The only problem now is that we still have Baseball and Urban Champion coming to us. Wikipedia says they come on January 1st, though. Nevertheless the Virtual Console is gonna be a lot nicer now that they got the crap out of the way (I really only think they put the sports crap there for the sake of saying "HEY WE'RE GONNA EVENTUALLY HAVE A COMPLETE BACKWARDS CATALOG AND I DO MEAN COMPLETE MANGS" because even though Soccer is incredibly fun, I'd never pay $5 for it).

The muttering is that R-Type costs more because the US release was technically combining the two Japanese games into one. That's a pretty arbitrary reason for pricing it that way, though. (The VC prices need to seriously come down a few notches for what little they're offering. No manual scans, boxart, online play, still getting famously-censored versions (enjoying Probector, Europe?), still stupid region issues (why do Australian Wii owners have to lie about what region they're in to get TG-16 games, when they otherwise work just fine?)...
