Dad and I are getting two Virtual Console games this weekend for the hell of it. Zelda is definite, but we are currently torn between F-Zero and Bomberman '93. I am currently leaning towards Bomberman (Never played a Bomberman game and F-Zero looks kind of...blehhh but if it's anything like the 3D ones then hey what the hell) but.

I'd say F-Zero, but there's no two player mode in F-Zero - so if you want multiplayer, Bomberman is probably the way to go.

I'd say go for Bomberman - 5 Player Multiplayer makes it seem like a must-buy in my eyes. Comapred with what most consider to be one of the weaker versions of F-zero, it seems like an obvious choice.

Go for Bomberman. They're likely to release F-Zero X in the future, so hold out for that one.

Any combination of Wiimotes and GC controllers, yes.
Technically that means it can support up to 8 players that way.

I'm curious as to where this info came from, as last I heard it was 'any combination of up to four Wiimotes and GC controllers'

I thought the VC games needed the Classic Controller.
WAIT, no, I do remember hearing something about GCN controllers.

If you have a Gamecube controller, you don't need a classic controller.

I think I may only just get Bomberman--I totally forgot there's that Zelda's Collector Disk. I should see if any stores have it. Of course, that means I have three games to play through immediately. (...well two since I doubt Zelda II would be anything I like) So I dunno. It would be kind of, um, nice to keep as much free space as I could on the channels list

Speaking of Bomberman, did anybody realize that online Bomberman game that I recall a bunch of us playing about 4 years ago, still exists? I was playing it earlier today.

It's not like there's a shortage of space for channels :P

Fair enough, but I'm sure eventually it'll be a problem. Then again, when it does get to that point I bet they could always patch more in...maybe. But uh, I just heard that Majora's Mask is apparently prone to freezing on the Collector's Disk so I may as well just wait it out for...two games. ADVENTURE OF LINK seems kind of meh. That would be...1500 Wii Points, and I would probably find the disk for like...$10-$15 anyway. I would rather spread it out anyway, because as much as I love being on this total Zelda bender, after the original Zelda gets finished after Twilight Princess it'll...pretty much just feel like total overkill. And I WILL feel compelled to finish both. Ehh, you know what, I'll wait because I bet Majora's Mask will be a bit better on the CONSOOOLEEEEEEomg. And I'm a dumb kid with plenty of money from past Christmases gone unspent who can afford to shell out $5 or so every now and then > Anyway, about the Virtual Console--I would say that it would be a lot better if the prices were set per game over per system. Zelda is definitely worth $5. Soccer, as amusing of a game it is, is really honestly only worth $2-3. Pinball? $1. I'd say SimCity is expansive enough that it warrants being $8 but F-Zero I think should be just a tad bit less. And I could go on and on... I am definitely eager to see when they plan on putting out Kid Icarus and Mario RPG, either way
