It would be mighty inconvenient to use a Game Gear to Master System converter, as the Game Gear uses the Start button way more often then the Master System uses the Pause button. You'd have to walk up to the console and hit the pause button every time you'd want to start a new game, in most situations.

Do not get Doom, Gens somehow corrects this horrendous framerate that the 32X version of Doom has. (Not to mention, the levels are badly edited and have even less levels than the Jaguar version.

Funny think about the 32X Doom though, once you beat the game it takes you to the DOS prompt. Hah.

Mmk. Well, it seems that I'm mainly gonna be getting a 32X for Virtua Fighter and possibly Space Harrier. I've won a new RF lead on eBay, which is muy excellente so I've been having some nostalgic MD related moments already. Speaking of which, I have to rebuy me Mega Bomberman.

Yes you do. Then, a Saturn with Saturn Bomberman. Then you'll own the only two Bomberman games you will ever need.
(What about Chaotix?)

Well, of course I want Chaotix but the chances of me ever getting it are very slim. Unless anyone here has a PAL copy they're willing to offload for a good price?

That's because Kolibri is the only hummingbird shooter, I think.
Get Tempo. Tempo 32x was decent, if you're going for a platformer and don't mind it being relatively generic. He's a happy little dancing cricket. He glides, hops, squishes things with his boots. Tries to defear sadistic enemies and save Kathy (? I think. Forgot. Maybe Katy) the butterfly.
Granted Tempo 32x has -nothing- on the Saturn one. The biggest shock was not being able to stomp enemies anymore. Instead he shoots them with deadly violin bubbles. Or becomes SUPER TEMPO! Complete with little boxer shorts. And Katy gets to run amok with a flame thrower while flying around properly.
._. I like Tempo. But crickets never get a following.
Other than those mentioned, I have no suggestions. But Doom 32x beats the hell out of the SNES one. It was the first one I played!... albeit the ending is markedly lame. And then I played Final Doom on PS and forever will remember two little words... "human barbecue".

=( yer not my boss! OMG! Eeemm... best I have currently are some happy snaps of the Saturn Tempo game. They will suffice. I really need to trim the app off the border. I'll do that someday. I am now blind! And a frog ate Tempo. Dang. The frog is evil! And Katy in the odd retro-game stage. It changes constantly! Parodies. May the power of Cow compel you!... to explode? Getting music note = money = cool things. And there's the dead animal band! I love that cat. The Saturn one has more personality, but the 32x one is still okay. I love my Saturn one ;_; Super Tempo is love. Or $45. Either way. Tempo 32x usually runs $10 boxed or less loose. Has the worst US boxart ever. I love Tempo XD.

I always wanted to play/own Tempo. I heard there's a bonus where you have to nick slices of Pizza while a granny is not looking, or something.

Yep, the pizza game. That was on the 32x game. 32x = Tempo = Generic but okay hop 'n bop Saturn= Super Tempo = Fugging insane genious. And it has two audio tracks. Really. Good luck finding Super Tempo ... On Ebay, 99 cents to $4 for normal Tempo. It's sad that it was so overlooked... and explains why the vastly superiour freaky Super Tempo never saw a stateside release.

I remember Tempo glitching with corrupt graphics on my 32X because all the wires in the back weren't plugged in right... =\
