I watched the two-season BSG recap and it felt kind of silly. Maybe I missed a lot of exposition by just watching the recap, but it felt like...
"HARDCORE REALISTIC SCI-FI SPACE DRAMA... AND THEN SUDDENLY HERE'S LOTS OF FANTASY ELEMENTS OUT OF NOWHERE INVOLVING ROMAN MYTHOLOGY! AND NOW ROBOTS CAN HAVE HUMAN BABIES!"
Very "wtf".

Speaking as someone who just flat out watched the entire two-season BSG instead, I think you may have. It's a very good show, but there's way too much going on to be summed up in a recap. I suspect it's not nearly as good if you haven't actually gone through and watched it.
Then again, that's a pretty big time commitment.

Yeah, generally the summary episode just doesn't ... even ... compare. (sorry guys, I couldn't avoid that one.)
Anyway, still no match for Space MacGyver.

No, that's in the intro to every episode.
Although they weren't created by man in the original. Think about that!

Yeah. It's obviously that BSG is a good show but I can't get into for some strange reason.
