It's an arcade game that is suppose to put you in a trance when played. Pretty freaky, although it looks staged (well it kind of is): www.kontrabandcontent.co.uk/1/graphics/movies/Real_zombies1.wmvBefore any one else says it (Because I have a feeling this has been posted before): Welcome to last month/week/year/century/etc.... Enjoy XD

That looked blatantly staged. That guy who was "shooting" the "Real" zombies couldn't act to save his life.

Oh dear. Compared to Derren Brown's tricks on the mind, that's...that's pretty crap.
That same sort of macanic in terms of fear has been done many times before. Silent Hill, that escape-from-prison-demon game, and F.E.A.R. Nobody has fainted, or got a paralyze shock from such. That is hilarriously funny though, about half way through it. XD

This reminds me of that one tetris-ripoff game that was rumored to brainwash you or something. I dunno, I heard about it years ago.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I'd like to remember the thing's name.

No game could ever brainwash you!!!!
Now if you excuse me I have to pay 5 bucks to open the fridge, spin fast in mid-air to make a tornado, take on an army of robots, and hide from that mexican dude with a chainsaw.

Remeber seeing this on his show. Interesting as it looks, to be honest it's really just another hypnosis trick. Clearly the flashes he's putting in put the guy under, and after that its pretty much your standard "Getting people to do something stupid" type of hypnosis trick. Derren's work is awesome, though. Really want to actually get along to one of his shows someday. As for horror in games, I really wish we could get over the whole "ARMY OF ZOMBIES OMG!" scenario. Take RE4: Excellent game, but not especially scary because, in the end, it amounts to you slaughteirn your way through hordes of what are, for all intents and purposes, Zombies. I want some more psychological horror. System Shock 2, and more recently Thief 3's Cradle Level, pull this sort of stuff off brilliantly. By all means have some frantic shooting for one type of horror, but equally you need suspense to actually do more than just make the player jump. PC Gamer UK had a brilliant feature on the whole of Shalebridge Cradle - Some interviews with the designers, some thoughts on the backstory of the place, and a nice look at the use of sound in the level too. I'm hoping FEAR can at least tread this path in some areas, even if a fair chunk of the game is to be action combat.

The bit that made me question the reality of the scene was at the end. He just grins and shrugs it off like nothing happened.

That would be awesome if its real footage and not movie magic.
