Bwaa haa haaa~!... though I was right in it being broken, I'm distressed now. Since C4 chips CAN burn out or at least become disconnected, I have to worry about the X games dying eventually.
Still, it makes me feel better about not insisting on the more expensive domestic ones =\ it'd suck to have a $60 game's 3D go poof in a year. DUDE.

I know I've looked past it several times, why did I just realize now that you have an Xbox 360? Didn't seem like it'd be your bag.

Because like you said, it doesn't seem like it'd be my bag?
Personally I don't think the Wii will do much better than the GC. None of the games presently have a high level of interest for me. The PS3's price is obviously a bit of a shock, the seemingly thrown-together motion controller makes me leery and it still doesn't have much announced to feel good about. Plus, being its high development costs, it's likely to get more cross-platforming action. At this stage it's only marginally better with ports than the 360 is. ZOMG WE HAVE A FEW NEW LIGHT SOURCES FTW!?!?
I like car-combat, horror-suspense and good puzzle games. Revenge is my favorite with cars, Condemned is fun, Alone in the Dark looks promising and I really like Hexic. Granted, it has so retail puzzle games here yet (god damn you, Japanese people and your Tetris!), but it should eventually.
Plus, Dead Rising?
It's a big giveaway, honestly.
Zombies.
With traffic cones.
ON THEIR HEADS.
