Why haven't they released one of these on the GCN?
I'm pretty sure Tales of Symphonia gave it a good fanbase on the Gamecube.

Strangely enough, they ported Tales of Symphonia to the PS2 in Japan.
Tales of Legendia was released here for the PS2, but Namco sort of screwed up the English release with only dubbing half the game. Let's hope they don't do the same thing with Abyss as I heard it's one of the best in the series.

Why haven't they released one of these on the GCN? I'm pretty sure Tales of Symphonia gave it a good fanbase on the Gamecube. Because the Tales series usually sell more units in Japan and Namco cares more about their Japan fanbase than the worldwide fanbase. Symphonia GCN was the lowest selling original Tales title there, despite it being the most sucessful Tales title in North America outselling ever Tales game that was released in NA combined. Even though ToS PS2 was an inferior port, it still sold more than the GCN version. Not sure if Abyss will be successful here--especially since Namco Hometek stupidly decided to release it on the same day FF12 is supposed to come out. I heard it is retailing for $30--though I wonder if they cut any costs in getting the game released at that price.

Yeah like NOT DUBBING HALF THE GAME IN ENGLISH <_< geez. If they weren't going to bother dubbing all of it they just should've kept the Japanese VAing. I don't know that really bothers me so, it just seems... really sloppy.
Also, Abyss has a release date?
And also, is it wrong that I find that avatar cute?

SCEA doesn't allow games other than its own to be released in a foreign language track only. Games with VA must require an English dub.
Ah, supposedly, Namco is releasing this game around the same time as FF12 bases on various gaming sites, but eh, that could change.
And no, you are not wrong. humpin' bunniez r kyoote.

Am I allowed to make a comment on that subj- nevermind.
I was interested to see Tales of the World for the PSP recently revealed, with Lloyd and Professor Raine shown in a battle sequence! I think it's supposed to be one of the Namco "dungeon" games, not so much a story- based RPG, so they're probably throwing in the more popular characters from different Tales series. (Although I didn't know Professor Raine was popular. I like her, I'm just surprised since she doesn't seem like the type Japanese fans would go for as much. I'm not yet through the game, though, still got about 40 or so percent to go, so maybe I've yet to see something big.)

I'd noticed the "Trusty Bell" part of that, and saw the scans yesterday, but didn't know the name "Milkania", whoops. (Acutally, still don't see where it fits? Is it a pun of "Miscellania"?)
Hah, got pointed out to discuss a topic in GD instead of Fluff. *snicker* Irony.
