This morning was kind of surreal

So, like most people, I went to a New Year's party last night. Unfortunatly, my ride had something to do early in the morning, and he was beginning to fall asleep at the party, so I had to go home at around 4:30 in the morning.

Let me tell you, there's something kinda surreal about drivig around Chocolate town, USA in the wee hours of the morning listening to Japanese rap/techno. Especially when you've had too many Mountain Dews and are feeling some of the less desirable effects of allergy medicine.


And then we passed a sign declaring us to be at Mushroom Hill. That just made my night.

Well, at least it was Mountain Dews and not some form of alcohol.

But yeah. I want to live in your town. I want a Mushroom Hill sign.

This was in Hershey, PA, which isn't where I live. Harrisburg's like 15 minutes away, though.

And after further investigation, I have found that, in addition to Mushroom Hill Road, there are Hilltop and Sand Hill roads. And here in Harrisburg, there's a Green Hill Road and a Hill Top Drive.

...Does it count that I live near a place that, when translated, literally means "Station Square"? o.o
