Can anyone tell me how I can record the sound that is currently playing on a computer without using a microphone? I ask this because there's some MP3 only on a Flash MP3 player that I want to rip and recording it through a microphone sounds very poor.

Double click the little speaker icon in the taskbar.
Options > Properties.
Select the "Recording" radio button.
Hit "OK".
Select the checkbox for "Wave Out".
That oughtta do it.

It might also be called "Mixer", "Wave/MP3", or other such things. With my Creative SB Live driver it's actually called "What U Hear". But yeah, just make sure that one's selected, then open up your favorite sound recording program, hit record, and start up the Flash.

It still isn't working... I've tried checking everything as well, but to no avail =/
EDIT: Ah, got it working now. Thanks very much.
