System of a Down - Mezmerize. I totally love this album. The tempo and the guitars swings and makes every single song rememberable (is that a word?) So far, it's my favorite album this year. I'll talk more about it tomarrow when I'm not half-asleep. Tis an excellent album, I wholeheartedly agree. I especially love the tempo swings of Radio/Video which I swear starts journeying into a ska beat after a while. And Mirai - Malice Mizer scare me. Not because of their appearance, but I heard a few songs of theirs - they was a cool instrumental but the rest was kinda... I dunno, just strange I guess. Meh.

Steady, watch me navigate! HA HA HA HA HAAAA!
Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc.
Great stuff is on this new Gorillaz album. De La Sol's rap on Feel Good Inc. is irresistable.
Ditto on that Mezmerize thing, that album is insanely good. System of a Down is the only Nu Metal band that I can not only tollerate, but also enjoy. Their operatic rythyms and chord changes (Cigaro,) their wild variety of song styles (Old School Hollywood,) and their cryptic lyrical messages are just a few good characteristics of this awesome band.
I've also been getting into NIN's The Downward Spiral. Trent Reznor is a masterful musician.

I'm not big on NIN, thoguh I do like "Perfect Drug". As for Mezmerize, the only problem I have with it is that Daron is doing a LOT of the vocals, which kind of takes away from the awesome charm of Serj's voice. Ah well. Still great stuff.

Shadow Gallery - ACt III - Birth of a Daughter. 4 years I waited for these guys to release something, and they did so with something worth my time. I love how from simple rythms they entangle into a web of excelently coordinated tunes. And the story... I'm not so much of a fan of the 1st part of the story ("Tyranny"), but it surely seems to pick up a lot here!

I agree, but it does add some more depth and variety in the songs.
They have another album coming out this year too, so that means more Serj.
