Okay, so, if there are any spoilers in this post, I don't wanna screw anything up so I'll leave some space... Okay, so, I think I encountered one of those infamous glitches that forces you to start your game over. So, I beat the Goron mines, got some bombs from from Barnes and Midna tells me I need to get to the Laynaru province or whatever it's called. So, I set out across Hyrule field, cross the bridge where you joust that gobling thing. Once I get across, the sky opens up and those twilight monsters come out. At this point my friend showed up at my house so I saved the game before I fought them and turned the system off. When I went back to play it just a few minutes ago, my save starts me off at the entrance to Hyrule field from Kakariko. When I tried to go to the bridge I find that it's broken, but the twilight monsters are out as I can see them on the other side trying to come after me. Am I stuck, MC? If so, I'm gonna be uber pissed... I have nine hours on that thing and I don't get to play often because of shitty work hours. So, do I have to start all my hard work over?

Wow if nintendo never noticed that one. Sounds like the loading defaults you to the closest field mark, but in this case is on the wrong side of the now broken bridge. That's bad

Ooh, yeah, that doesn't sound too good. :< You might need to restart.

Thanks for informing me not to save there, at least You can't hit them from across the bridge, can you? With the boomerang?

Even if he could, the boomerang doesn't kill. And he'd need to kill them all at once, too.

Also, like someone in that topic said; "Killing them doesn't magically fix the bridge". So yeah.

Cube also has these bugs I presume? just the thought of redoing hours of gameplay because of a stupid overlooked bug makes me not even want to play it.

I'd figure if you just take a little caution in where exactly you save (and more importantly of course; quit) your game there oughtn't be much of a problem...
