I prefer the earlier seasons, but frankly I'll take Fast Forward (>.<) over nothing.

If this is true, I'm assuming Fast Forward would be the last TMNT Season they're producing.

So, if 4kids is not dubbing anymore, does this mean 4kids voices will stop dubbing the Sonic games and we will get back our good old Ryan Drummond and such?
Or is this having hopes too high?

I think they might wait a few more games. I mean... they just kicked Ryan Drummond out.
Or they will try and snatch him up real quick.

so uhh if 4kids isn't doing dubs anymore, what's this mean for Pretty Cure?

It would probably mean Honoka has been rescued.

It's hard to say. Assuming it means what we think it means, the phrasing is that 4Kids isn't doing anything new, so they might be planning to hang onto what they've already developed. It's hard to say whether Pretty Cure falls under that category, because we haven't heard anything from them at all since they picked up the license. It may even be that they see it as a potential competing hit in someone else's hands, and they're just sitting on it to prevent anyone else from importing it.
If the 4Kids Pretty Cure dub is being aborted, then there's still no way of knowing what'll happen as a result. It might be de-licensed, some other company might pick it up, or 4Kids might just sit on it some more. And in any case, there's the question of where Splash Star and 5 (yes, "5") come into play.

To some people it's a craze. To others, it's another entryway for potentially great new TV shows and movies into your life. *shrug* Some storytelling works best with it, some does not.

I dunno. Anime's just a fad! A fad that's been slowly growing in popularity since the 70's or 80's (Speed Racer, Gigantor)...
Oh wait.
Temporary?

I wouldn't call anime a fad at all. I was never big on an-ee-may though--especially now that it's pretty mainstream. FLCL was cool. S'bout it.
Either way it is good to see that 4kids has at least stopped One Piece--wasn't a fan but what they did was ridiculous. The show wasn't really intended 4kids at all, (lolol) but they...did all kinds of ridiculous crap to do such.
However, it brought about the FUCKING PIRATE RAP.

Anime was a fad.
Now it's a meaningless technicality and anime shows are just moreorless regarded as any other shows. People don't get all boner about them just because they're from japan. The concept was a fad, built upon the fad of Pokemon. Now both are gone, but the media stays.
Let's all go read BleistiftAnsatz Sissy
I mean Power Rangers was popular, (only Pokemon eventually beat it in terms of $money$) but during it's time in the spotlight it gained enough popularity to embed itself into the saturday morning programming block. So it'll be around forever, even if the only people who are watching it are kids waiting for more popular shows to come on, and Arrow.

Basically I like to think of Anime as being comparable to punk rock.

Mehh. Being an anime fan is nothing to be ashamed of. It's the people who are all "omg I wish that Inuyasha would be my fancharacter Sailor Xtremioso the Shade's boyfriend because he is such a bishie ;.;" that will be looking back at their lives a few years down the road with nothing but regret. Or the goths who see anime as a way of being "different". > What makes Nightmare Before Christmas goth, anyway? Because there's a skeleton guy? Because he is a skeleton and it's all "lolhalloween" makes it so that every goth will have Jack Skeleton's dumb dance on all their wristbands and bookbags. I hate Tim Burton. He raped Batman's good name.

Bah, I just enjoy anime for what it is. Even when the 'fad' fades away, I still think many of it's shows have ended up being very legit and well crafted forms of entertainment, and despite the stereotypes, my years as a fan have now led to countless priceless experiences that I probably never would have had in other fandoms.
Sure, there are a number of fans are strange and awkward, but that has rang true for nearly every type of hobby I've ever encountered.

Speaking of Anime, some storys work out quite well in the Anime form that would be far harder in live action, just look at Gundam/G-Savior
