spoiler is cool but spoiler is ICE COLD. This game... This game will be quite the game. I am like stoked all over the house for this sucker. (Also, the more plot they add to WoR, the better)

The second one befuddles me, and the first one... kind of removes a particular tragic element to the game. But I'll see how they handle it first before making a judgement.

Rumor has it that those screenshots were faked, since the important characters have dialogue box pictures now...
Also, I hear there are still only 14 spaces for characters in the party-arrangement screen. Hmmm.

Weren't they technically playable in all previous versions?
And yea, it does remove a certain charm to the storyline. I hope they really make the player jump through a lot of hoops to make it work out.
I mean they might as well make Vicks and Wedge prominent characters too.

Weren't they technically playable in all previous versions? Spoiler 1: Technically yeah, but only in one short scene. Spoiler 2: Nope, not at all. In fact, I don't recall him even being in an actual battle in the first place - neither on the good nor bad side. Perhaps you only play them together, in their own "sidestory" sort of thing.

I most certainly am. Can't beat one of the finest RPG's the 16Bit era had to offer in a package nearly 1/16th the size of the original cartridge. =P

I just wish there was a DS version so I wouldn't have to be paranoid about the music... I wouldn't care even if the top screen was just a giant map and character stats.

How about trying the Jap version to soothe... or possibly confirm your fears?

Word on the street is that Vanish/Doom no longer works.

Wow. They really cranked up the brightness. It looks like a bright and shiny happy day in Narshe. I suppose it would look like normal on a GBA/SP or maybe even a plain old DS since they don't have as good a light as a...Lite (Or emulator lolz)

Without watching that yet, I'll point out that the Opera bit was reworked somewhat for the US to try to better match the lyrics. Or is it that the actual sounds she makes sound better? (And by reading the comments, apparently it's the actual sound.)
