My girlfriend has a PS2, but unfortunately after two full-length games she's tired of me greedily borrowing her console =P Couldn't you guys, like, play together? Or is that your definition of "borrowing" it? We only see each other on the weekends, due to me living at college and her still attending high school. Since I like to play straight through a game, it just doesn't work well unless I borrow it.

My family has made me promise that, if I should be so lucky as to secure a Wii before Christmas, to not buy more than 1 game for myself (I didn't tell them it comes with Wii sports) because it makes me hard to Christmas shop for if I have everything I want. Therefore, the choice is obvious: Zelda.

Hoo man. There's so much I want, but I'm DEFINITELY going to be picking up Zelda and Monkey Ball with my Wii this weekend I'm not sure what virtualconsole stuff I'll be gettin', though... probably some fun multiplayer games like Gunstar Heroes and Mario World, maybe Mario 64 just to be like "hay look what I have" XD I dunno. Is anyone else here gonna try and camp out at Wal*Mart this Saturday for the midnight sale? I live in a pretty small town so I'm hoping it won't be TOO much of a grueling process, but... this is the first time I've camped for anything so it should be an interesting experience.

I pretty much want Zelda wicked bad, but I don't know if that justifies the purchase of an entire console.

I'm actually camping out at Target Saturday night. This is the first time I've camped out for anything too.
I've pretty much decided to get Zelda first and foremost... I mean... I did buy a GCN back in April of last year when everyone thought it was coming out near then. And I want a game that will take advantage of all the remote's capabilities, not just some. I think besides that I'll either get Trauma Center or Red Steel.

I pretty much want Zelda wicked bad, but I don't know if that justifies the purchase of an entire console. If it's the cheapest console of the bunch...? Also, you're not interested in any other game the console has to offer?

DragonBall Z, maybe - but I'll mainly hit the generic card and say Zelda

You know, I'm just going to go casual on this: Day of the launch, I'll check out some available shops in the Dublin city centre area when it suits me to get out there, and if I get one fine, if I don't then that's the way it goes.

Also, you're not interested in any other game the console has to offer? Ask me again when Mario Galaxy and Smash Brothers come out. =P

I already have Super Monkey Ball coming my way, and Wii Sports is packed, and I'm not really interested in Zelda (though I'll probably rent it), so for me I'll probably pick up Wii Play for the extra controller and cheap game, and possibly Rayman.

I was actually thinking about Rayman. 1up listen it number two on the top five games to get on launch day.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Excite_Truck#FeaturesCustom music thing? Okay I love this game even more Since Red Steel is apparantly subpar, dissappointingly enough, this will be the one I get. I really am wondering about Zelda. I really expect the controls to suck for the Wii and feeling tacked on, despite liking the concept. I'm getting it but not sure which version to, uh. Get. Gamespot says Excitetruck's multiplayer is lacking severely, but that's okay with me.

When I pre-ordered my Wii, the store was giving two games (PLUS wii sports)
So now I already have Wii sports, Rayman, Excite Truck ... Yes. Already have. Somehow the store where I pre-ordered recieved the console and the games today! A day before launch!

A friend of mine walked into school yesterday with a copy of Red Steel. Yeah. I dunno why kids at my school bring in video games.
