You know, is it really worth it not importing? Some places are selling the American version for $30 online, even with postage that's still going to be a lot cheaper then what it is likely to sell for over here (game.co.uk listed it as £29 Sterling).

Well, not supporting it in your region isn't good (like the people buying the Japanese release of PW:Justice for All, instead of waiting, although I admit that's a BITCH of a waiting period, I hope there's something special being added to the US version to account for that, but probably not), but the game could potentially not see UK release at all (it was delayed time after time in the US, as it was), so maybe you should go ahead and go for it. They'll probably change the packaging to something less awesome, anyway.

To give a mild estimation on how hard it is to support my region...
... I don't have Star Fox Command yet. =\

Well, that is an online game, with a fair amount of text. But yeah, I get what you mean.

Yeah, well... I called it a "mild estimation (I think I should have said "example" there)". That's another thing that really ticks me off. I live in the Netherlands - practically neighbouring to Great Britain. In gaming history (obviously not counting games that have been manufactured in the Netherlands), the amount of games that have actually been released with Dutch text is laughably low. Like.... 0.5% or something. And even if a game has Dutch text in it, chances are I'm just gonna go ahead and play it in English anyway. So it's a given I'm gonna be playing the game in a language that I, and pretty much every gamer in the world knows at least to a certain extent; English. So why should I have to wait for the game to obtain half-assed German, Italian, French and Spanish script inserts so I can.... just freaking play it in English like it was meant to be, if most of the time it's not even gonna be released in the only other language that might interest me (and other Dutchies, obviously)? God things are so easy in a continent where everyone speaks the same language. Sometimes I feel like I'm still being punished for the Babel Tower incident.

I likee =D Naked Chefs are scary. I'm sad that Terry's too much of a dumbass to know how to fry a potato, though. How old IS he?!?...
... Oh, wait. He's a guy. In gameland, men have no inherent cooking skills outside of Suikoden II.

There is a whole bunch of stat building in this game. I mean it can be one of the most mundane task like reading a book or poster at a house and your Wisdom stat will level up.
The system reminds me of a good version of FF2.
