Not sure. Did Konami arrange something with Hollywood Video Co. for previous pre-order bonuses such as the special DVD for MGS3? I'm assuming this promo is exculsively for Gamestop/EB.

Aw, man...I already had it preordered.
Do you think they'll let me get the pre-order items now even though I pre-ordered before they were available?

SoNick: Absolutely. An EB/GS preorder is YOUR money. You're entitled to take it back out at any time, or change it to a different title.
They can always just cancel then redo the preorder. Your cash won't be lost. If the staffer tells you you can't do anything once you've put the money down on a title, they're lying.

Seriously though, if this reaches the UK somehow, one of you needs to alert me.

I believe I can confirm that Game Crazy is also doing the pre-order bonus, they described it as the Castlevania Bonus Pack, didnt quite know what it was, though I told the clerk what its likely to be Edit: and this press-release says it all! www.planetgamecube.com/newsArt.cfm?artid=12283

The game is now priced $34.99 instead of $39.99 as previously known.
Now I feel better for pre-ordering the game.

Seriously though, if this reaches the UK somehow, one of you needs to alert me. If this reaches the UK somehow, see if you can somehow obtain a second set for yours truly. I'll obviously pay you back for it and everything. Hell. If someone anywhere can somehow obtain a spare set of the preorder goodies somehow, I'd be totally interested in a (money-order?) trade. It's not like I haven't sent and recieved stuff from across the globe before. So it'll cost me a couple Euro's in postage, big deal. This pack is AWESOME and I must HAVE it. (EDIT: Rephrase; made it sound like I wanted two sets. I need merely one, of course. And yes, I'm totally serious.)

I have a $5 deposit in it at GS, although the manager has personally heard nothing at this point. At least I can withdraw it if the goodies aren't available locally and hopefully get it either online or at the OTHER EB at that mall whose name I can never remember.
