Didn't like King of Thieves because it shut the door on the animated series Technically, what really shut the door on it was the crossover episode of the Hercules series in which Jafar and Hades conspire to take down both Aladdin and teen Herc.

We need another Black Cauldron. Not a cheapquel, a dark, foreboding story from Disney. They KNOW they can do it, they're just afraid to hurt their squeaky-clean image.

Well who's going to convince the Disney bosses to make a new Atlantis/black cauldron, I think they both failed in the box office. Al tough I do agree a dark Disney movie would be cool, I didn't enjoy Atlantis nor black cauldron. I think Emperor's new groove is the "darkest" or at least most "extreme" disneymovie we can expect now. Black cauldron on DVD would be interesting, since the director deleted a lot of scenes from that movie, so there's oughtta be a lot material still lying around.

Black Cauldron is already on DVD--though I don't recall the release including any of the deleted scenes.

Um...they did make an Atlantis sequel. I think it was called "Milo's Return" or something.

Nah, that was more of an epilogue thing, if I remember correctly. But I don't know for sure, since Toon Disney will NEVER ****in' air repeats of that episode for some reason. (Or at least I've never noticed it, and there was a time when I checked daily for it.) They didn't even get _a_ Genie voice for that ep, though. Not even Dan.
