Wow, those are fantastic... well, bubbles, was kind a bit simplistic, but I really liked the others. Aurora is probably the coolest looking, but that's debateable. B... but don't they require the POWAH OF VISTA? I guess the old Win32 executable format is still abound yet!

Wow.. Aurora is pretty cool. Mystify and Ribbon look to be updated versions of the old classics. Bubbles.. eh, I'm sorta so-so about it. But they're all cool.
And it's odd they don't need Vista.. yet we hear rumor of Vista only software.. hm.
Anyway, coolness and thanks, Epon!

Hate to sound like an idiot, but how do I make them go in my list o' screen savers? In XP you can right-click on them and hit "Install." Possibly other Windows versions as well. In 2000/XP they go into \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32. In Win9x, I think they just go in \WINDOWS\SYSTEM (?)

And it's odd they don't need Vista.. yet we hear rumor of Vista only software.. hm. I guess it'll probably have to do with the new shell, some exclusive drivers and some incompatible DLLs, without any other actual change... which means MSN and Office will be the main and pretty much the only exclusive programs...

I'm so hardcore, I don't use screensavers.
...but Aurora is neat. E] Hey, um...did anyone else's computers start making weird noises after installing Aurora? Because mine did, and it's really freaking me out.

I'm so hardcore, I don't use screensavers. ...but Aurora is neat. Actually, I really don't either; I just let my monitor go with a reasonable power-saver shutoff. These really are for stay-on-all-day type systems, particularly with CRTs. (At least, I don't think LCD/TFT type displays are affected the same way.)

Before I begin to mess with them, SCRs are pretty much just Executables. Not suspecting anything of Epon at all (but maybe where he got them from, dunno), have these been pretty thoroughly virus-scanned?

I scanned them with AVG and that didn't turn up anything.
