To Kill a Mocking Bird
What? There are no mocking birds in it (from what I remember) not even one that dies!

Ideon: Be Invoked
There's nothing more depressing than everyone getting killed in gruesome ways and then after that the universe ending.

X/1999 the Movie? Although that movie was depressing cause it SUCKED! Well, I kinda liked the manga, although it was a little confusing and the art style is not my kind of thing... it was certainly depressing, though. As for Ideon, I don't know, I have been watching the ShinGetter sub and I think the depressing part is the feeling of failure and futility... I don't know, it's Tomino, so you kinda expect at least some main character to die... I mean, the deaths are just the conclusion of it all, but if it was just everyone dying I don't think it would be very depressing at all... what's depressing is that the colonists get caught up in this conflict with the Buff Clan and they have to continuously run away and the Buff Clan themselves have all kinds of inner complications, etc... I mean, take End of Evangelion. You can't be sure if it's really just Asuka and Shinji that survive, or if everyone will return to their shape, or actually anything, but you do know that all the characters had trouble finding what they wanted to do and when they do, they fail at doing it, so that's why it's depressing... Of course, it's not the same, but what I mean is that futility blah blah blah opdjojod

Dead Poet Soceity. That's the most depressing film ever. It was also a terrible way for me and few friends to ring in the New Year

Transformers: The Movie. The old one, where they kill off all those guys for novelty.

What Smindas said.
What makes it worse is that the super annoying kid that was in my class the year I watched that movie tried to "lighten the mood" afterwards. I REALLY hate that kid. A LOT. He's a spoiled brat. Errr, I'd better stop before I go into total rant mode.

I saw a foreign film called Kolya once. It's about a Czech guy who has to take care of a kid from Russia, neither of them knowing the other's language. At first the kid is a nuisance, but he soon grows to love the kid and he treats him like he is the father. The end is him giving the kid back to his mother and he just walks away. It was so sad...

Ghost World. It is neither about Ghosts, nor a World full of them. And the ending leaves you thinking "ARGH." Basically any movie that is open-ended depresses me. Also... Life is Beautiful (most depressing of all. Damned Italians ) Once Upon a Forest A Troll in Central Park A.I. My Dog Skip the first Pokemon movie All the other Pokemon movies, just because there are too many of them All the Land Before Times after the 6th or 7th just because they made too many of those too Winnie the Pooh, The Search for Christopher Robin The Tigger Movie The Piglet Movie Honey I Blew Up the Baby Beethoven (you know, the dog) Old Yeller Homeward Bound The sequals to Homeward Bound because they are annoying Escape to Witch Mountain Wayne's World 2 (because there isn't a Wayne's World 3 ;_;) Kung Pow (because there is no sequel) All Shirley Temple movies The Secret Garden Others I can't remember at the moment because I'm tired. As you can see... I watch a lot of little kid movies. This is because I am awesome.

Wayne's World 2 (because there isn't a Wayne's World 3 ;_;) Kung Pow (because there is no sequel) Quoted for Truth[tm], although Wayne's World 2 has many moments that don't carry the "Wayne's World" feel to them very well. Also: Hardball. You know, the movie where Keanu Reeves plays a compulsive gambler who coaches a little-league baseball team to pay off (part of) his debt? It sounds like a stupid kids' movie from my description, but it really doesn't fit into that category at all. If you've seen it, you know why I've mentioned it as a sad movie.
