Yeah, turn on scanlines. It looks rather bad, but it's definitely faster.

Did that. Tried messing with the dot check, too. Do I just have a bad computer?

I'm having an issue with this too, I'm trying to run NiGHTS but even though I have the BIOS and everything (yes even the EURO.bin for cassani) I have the following problems.
1) SSF wont recognise the cue file 2)Cassani boots but stops running after the BIOS
What do I do?

SSF doesn't recognize the cue file? Don't you have to load isos into Daemon(or any other virtual drive) to play them in SSF? I didn't see any option to load them directly in it. I seem to get full speed on NiGHTS with Auto Field Skip enabled, no scanlines, and the dot clock set to 3. Radiant Silvergun and Guardian Heroes seemed to run fine at 2, but NiGHTS was a little slow. Also, I wish Astal worked in SSF

Well, SSF was taking frameskip to an extreme. So, it was like first NiGHTS was in this loop. then he was over there on the ceiling. So, I loaded in GiriGiri. It's slow as feck, but at least now it's playable. Is there a way to get scanlines in GiriGiri?
Jenny: For SSF you need to rename whatever bios you're using to "boot.rom". And you've got the .cue mounted, right?

Bump. I've been trying to run Nights with SSF .7, with mixed results: trying Awakened's settings (dot clock at 3) results in some terrorfying frameskip to the point of teleportation as Milo mentioned. Turning off frameskip puts the game at normal speed, but slows down the music to about .5x.
Obviously this is playable, but not ideal. I also notice that my CPU isn't even trying to go for the gold with this thing, (only about 50% usage) no matter what I set the priority at in Task Manager. Anybody had success running it full speed apart from Awakened?

I'm gonna have to bump this too. We need decent speed NiGHTS!
