For those that hadn't heard, some time ago Nintendo announced that they were going to use the approximately 27 bajillion monies they earned from AC DS sales (and still going) to pay for an animated AC movie, most likely so they can end up making even more cash. But the fans will love it, so more power to 'em. img353.imageshack.us/my.php?image=11527141833904ps.jpgDecember 16th, apparently. Although some question whether this might be describing a seperate anime series...?

Old news. There was a topic made in here for an upcoming AC anime series.

It fails due to lacking the horrible AC-style noses D=.
Additionally, that ninja needs a hockey mask and to be a girl. Then it might be cooler.

Iiii dunno... this looks too weird... I mean... a game about nothing is fun to play, but I dunno how an anime about nothing is gonna pan out. It'd be like Seinfeld. Except with cute animals.

I'll possibly be a spinoff about how some person finds themselfs magically transported to a place called animal crossing and the animals might have much more diverse personalities in the game? I wouldnt think the anime series/movie would be exactly like the nature of the game. You possibly follow the main characters trails and tribulations, and their developing friendships with the other characters. It'll prolly also have some moral about friendship and community as well

And Sable fanservice.

Blathers and Brewster's possibly illicit relationship... he was just an owlet in school, and Brewster showed him the whey-hey-hey! Sounds suspicious to me =D!
At least in the DS version they dropped the fixation with the unknown videotape that everyone borrows/steals which you cannot watch. What was on that thing? Sable fan-fandancing?

And more importantly how do the Animals without a TV watch it?

Actually, the DS version (I don't think it was in the GC version) implied that Nook and Sable knew eachother before seperately coming to the town, and there might've even been a relationship, but Nook did something in the name of business that tore them apart. It's kind of weirdly complex for the game, which is why I remember it.
And I CAN'T believe they let that "Pigeon Milk" comment in the US version. And who wasn't surprised by the comments relating to their first Football Fish?

It just gets weirder and weirder...
The cross-dressing, lesbian/homosexual, drug-swapping, prank-pulling, never-ending-errand of DOOM-sending, residents of Animal Crossing coming to the Big Screen?
That will be.. interesting, to say the least. Maybe Tim Burton will direct.

And who wasn't surprised by the comments relating to their first Football Fish? I wasn't. :( I'm always confused when people mention this. Doesn't it just say something like "You've come a long way..."? I don't get it XD

When you turn it in to Blathers for the museum, he usually gives facts or comments about cooking the fish, but with the Football Fish, he talks about how they sort of "merge" together when they mate. It just gives you kind of a "WTF" moment, considering that's what they decided to write for his brief comment. It's probably true, but a very strange thing to point out in a game like AC. (I guess it's good the museum will only take one of each.)

I keep my coel-cutie in my temple of evil, but it got cluttered with a few bugs. I NEED A NEW HOUSE!
Yeah, what was up with 'pigeon milk' anyway? I'm still disturbed... because birds do not breasts have, unless they're cleaved from their dead carcasses =D.
Nook is a sad, bitter raccoon/tanuki.
