Actually, that would be Rockman ZN. Yes, Shinsei Rockman ZN (Rebirth Rockman ZN) is the Battle Network replacement, ZX is more like a Zero replacement. Also, this picture is pure awesome.

Uh, you sure this isn't just a long promo just to advertise the game or a showcasing of possible cutscenes in the game? It doesn't even look like a commercial for an anime series.

If it was for the game, it would have some form of video game footage. Since there is none, it can be deduced that it's for an anime.

I wonder if they kill Zero again in this game. It pisses me off that X is still overshadowed by Zero even in this R.O.C.K. system. I hope Model ZX doesn't replace Model X .

Uh, Model ZX is a fusion of models X and Zero. The generals are also fusions WITH the X form. X form is basically a hub that branches into those.
Also, Zero isn't in this. X, Zero, and the generals are all long dead, whether during the MMZ series, or between that and ZX. That guy with the blonde hair is Giroette, who has the pure Zero form.
Zero's soul, as well as that of X's and the generals are contained in those metals, and they converse with Vent/Aile at certain times in the game.

Great. I sense someone making a MMZX comic with "multiple personalities" when it comes out in English...

If it was for the game, it would have some form of video game footage. Since there is none, it can be deduced that it's for an anime. However, if it was for an anime series then there would have been an anouncement from Capcom and a website about it ages ago. And it looks like I was right.

Okay, did you ever play Metroid Fusion? If so, you remember how the personality of Adam was stored in a computer that people (read: Samus) could later converse with? It's like that, except this time Adam is an ancient warrior, and in addition to having access to his mind, you can physically turn into a simulation of his body, with powers included. But apparently, unlike Fusion, you couldn't talk to him whenever you want to; only specific times.

Awesome, the second Megaman anime, where Megaman is only used for fighting and the series itself is about a bunch of kids. Seems to happen for every anime about a videogame hero.. Fascinating how so many big epic adventures always put elementry school kids in charge of saving the world, with all adults being worthless. 10 year olds are rookie adventures, 18 year olds have had years of militairy practise and are bothered by trauma's, 20 year olds are always referred as "old man" what makes them angry and they prepare for retirement and 30 year olds are probably village elders. That's how it seems in most Rpg's / light action anime's. ;

It's not an anime series. It is a promotional trailer/commercial advertising the new Rockman ZX game for the Nintendo DS.

And even if it were, I don't think it wouldn't be the second. I'm fairly certain that there was an anime previous to MMBN.

Well, if you count the old Mega Man cartoon in which he and Dr. Wily come to our world's Japan, then it WOULD be the second.
