... This is gonna sound really retarded, but I'm curious :[] Do laptop hard drives work in a PC? I have two perfectly good 70gb hard drives from my dead laptop lying around, and am curious if they can be put to use. Since this PC has a.. um.. 14gb drive. Yes. XD

Yeah, you can do it, but you need a converter to connect them to an IDE cable. And they're difficult to mount inside of a tower. If you can't get it screwed in tight, it's going to move around and get bumped and eventually break.

Alternatively, if you really believe in yourself (ie: if you look hard enough), I'm sure there's a suitable one of those neat little external HDD container doohickeys (via USB, generally) that you can use to make an external out of one (or two, if you find two) of them.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure what brands/things actually produce those, nor am I sure which ones are actually good. :E
