Link is thus. Big ol' image, would stretch the tables something awful. Took me a lot of work, but I'm rather proud of the results. Still experimenting with inking in Adobe Illustrator. Yeah, old skool rocks XD New imageIf you notice it looks suspiciously unfinished, you'd be right. At 300ppi, with twenty-six layers, my computer was starting to have serious issues with it. So here it is, as much as I can do. I was wanting to do more with the wall and such, but it takes my computer a good minute to save the file and at this rate it will be a long while before I can get all the little details I wanted right. Oh well. When I build my new computer (which is in the works right now) I'll do a SPECIAL EDITION DIRECTORS CUT revamp, but for now, blah.

The pointing finger looks unnaturally bent. The background also looks kind of... bare.
Otherwise, it's good. *thumbs up!*

Regarding the finger - it really isn't. Just try it yourself. You can have your hand in the exact same pose easily. The background does need a spot of green in it at the very least, but aside from that, looking awesome! =P

It's nice, but something about Sonic's build is bothering me, and it's not that it's classic-themed... Wish I could say what it was, but I can't pinpoint it offhand...

Good pic, nice one. My only significant complaint would be the plain background. Needs to be more alive ;D

*small detail* Is that font from/in a Myst game? It looks familiar (PS: I have and have almost beaten Revelation now ) (PPS: A bit late, but... (it's a veiled apology))

Seph: Yeah, you're right about the finger. But it was finished before I realized it. it should have been more curved than just bent like that. But that's what experimentation is for^^ Kulock: Hm.. the proportions could be a little off. I haven't drawn Sonic (let alone a FINISHED sonic) in ages, it seems. If you figure it out, let me know! Oni Lukos: No, I don't think it's form Myst. Although it looks like it could be. I forget which it was, but I don't think it was one of the Myst fonts I have. As to the apology - thanks and don't worry about it^^ I get defensive about the Myst games. Just love em so much, ya know what I mean? And thanks everyone for your feedback! It's been a while since I've turned out a properly finished piece of art. This was somewhat of a test. The second actually (with this being the first), to see if I could actually get things finished with the vector inking. I don't have steady enough hands to use a pen to ink (as can be seen in the inking on this one.). Ends up looking rather ragged. Using Illustrator, I can make the lines smoother and more professional looking. Yeah, the background is plain, but I wanted to keep it fairly simple so that I could just get it finished. I have another that I'm working on and I promise it will be more interesting!

Looking back...the finger looks like it's either bent painfully or pointing backwards, which the shading doesn't reflect.
Oh, and the T in "KTH" is identical (sans bevel) to the T in Revelation on the box...not a coincidence.

OH! You meant the pictures signature!
Yeah, yeah, that's from Myst XD. The KTH is, but not the numbers. The site I downloaded it from is gone now had several different ones.. hm.. I'll upload them for ya, if you like. Some cool Fonts. D'ni script, Narani, and three different Myst title fonts.
Yeah, the finger's odd.. if I felt up to it, I would re-do it, but I stupidly over-wrote the layered Photoshop file and it would require editing the vector art, eh, I'll just leave it. Learn and move on, eh? ^^

I already have Dniscript (I got it off the official site, actually XD), but none of the others. The numbers are what caught me, though.
Seeing as I'm already getting pretty off topic here...what's with...oh wait...how long has that been a link?

hehehe.. as long as there has been an image to link to.
If you meant to say "what's with your sig"
well..
Way, way back many centuries ago, not long after my time on the Internet began, I had two Screen Names. My original was 'Keath101' which later became the one I use now. However there was another one: "IX the one and only". IX, as seen in that image, is weird. I used him as a weirdness outlet, but without giving away who it was. So for a while I was two people. Then someone at the old Cheese Forum (remember that, you old guys?), I think it was Zhan Devga(sp), then Rabid Knux (and later Knuxedo Mask) directed me (IX) to the Moogle Cavern forum since he though I would fit in well. He was right.
The "Alright Here we Go" thread was only just beginning and I was feeling particularly humorous so I posted a few weird infomercial parodies for something called 'Phillawfull" (I have them achieved actually.. should repost them in the new version). I think they went over well enough.
Anyway, so eventually (not too long after I got to the MC, actually) someone figured it out and I dropped the charade and went back to just Keith.
Ever since then, however, I've kept IX in the back of my mind and since my art skills have improved a bit, I've decided to bring back some of my old, original ideas. More I can't say right now, except to say that I'm tired of doing a sprite comic. >.>
So that's a history of IX and I hope that answers your questions, and that that was actually what you were asking about XD

Ix is to him a lot like Zabuki Monkey is to me.
And great picture Keith. I've always been a fan of your art.

Yes indeed, that is what I was talking about XD
And I happen to know another iX. Well, I suppose it's not the same, seeing as I'm a UNIXer.

LOL!
Well I am not certain, because it was quite a while ago by now, but it may be that I got the name "IX" from Hitchhikers Guide. As I recall the name that Ford was given by his classmates was 'IX' which means "Boy who is not able to explain what a Hurung is or why it should choose to collapse on Betelgeuse IV". I dunno if I was thinking about that at the time but there it is XD
Rin: Thanks much, man!
Ahh yeah.. man.. memories..
