Funny, but I didn't even get it was a reference until your description, clever.
The artwork itself seems alright, but I think things needed a bit of a cleanup, or at least a more thorough coloration of the various little white spots about.

Hm, i first tought that ship was supposed to be that thing the girl bunny boss flies, from Tails sky patrol. She could have standed drooling over the ship too  I wonder who's Tails screaming to tough, since he makes his own ships I assume. He best settles with a ship shaped like his own head again or something. |
