So today, my "band" (it's actually just me and a friend) recorded a song we had written, called "End Your Life, Please", due to his recent acquisition of an 8-track. For a first ever recording, we both think it actually turned out fairly well. It's kind of straight forward heavy metal with tongue in cheek lyrics. I recorded the rhythm guitars, bass and vocals (they're not very impressive vocals ) and Blev (the other guy) did the solo and all the technical 8-track stuff. The writing itself was a completely joint effort and as I said, we're both pleased with it - it was incredibly fun to make. Anyway, any critique would be great, so go ahead and give it a listen at myspace.com/sycoraxmetal (I figured it made more sense linking to a steamed version rather than uploading it elsewhere). EDIT: Ahahahaha, this did not go down well at #lemonade. It got completely slated. I know it's a pretty jokes and unserious thing, but I didn't expect those kids to be so hateful towards me and a friend having a laugh with an 8-track

Not completely, since some of us can't stream too well... :/

Well, there's also a download link on the streaming player. So if you can't stream, you could always click that.

That was mostly the British, Sminny. As you know, they hate everything.
