I thought it'd be nice to actually color something by hand and use the different grades of grey pens I have. Ultimately, too many of them border on black, so, uh, the light range was too limited. GAAAAAAAAH. Old beasties I got out of an old sketchbook. This is from earlier this year, but I never got around to coloring it. Insignia has no relevance... he was pulled from an old book, too. Siggie's supposed to be a rabbit. Dude. Tiny and unfinished. Still, I think Mariella's color scheme works. Opinions =(? Daisy is very, VERY monochrome, but she's too adorable to change.

The top one... the little critter reminds me of something I've seen before... not Eeyore, but along those lines.
But that's also a really cool one, a lot of depth to the shading.

That dragon thing is quite the coolest of them all.

Anything with that damned hair looks like Sally. Uncolored especially, Daisy looks like a little sister to her. Almost. Less so in the less stylized versions, of course =P...
I'm still suprised noone really thinks Mariella looks like Fiona Fox, at least the old one. Maybe it's just the color scheme...
