As with a lot of things in CoH, the supergroup bases are highly customizable things, with many room configurations possible and lots of decorative potential. Seeing as how the supergroup I founded has become quite large (it's at its max amount of members), that means that not only has it been able to become quite impressive looking, but it's also very functional.
Nonetheless, I was the one who made the base, decided its colour scheme, its layout, and all of its decor; as it is, only myself and Kat have base editting permissions, anyhow. So, since it's possible to have so many different combos, and since I'm proud of how it turned out, here's the base of the Triumph of the Celestials:
This is the entrance. Although heroes enter facing the camera, the wall they face upon coming in isn't particularly exciting ;P
Also, the entrance room establishes a set theme that you'll notice throughout the base: banners with our emblem on it. We're not scared to say we're a bit proud of what our SG has become.
This is the 'Control Room' as the game calls it. Since we're a magic-origin-themed supergroup (though we don't filter members as though this were the case), it doesn't look as much as a control room as one would expect. The strange monument is what gives most of our control, which is a type of power for the base, and the bookcases augment this power.
This is the teleporter room. Those three teleporters go to various places in Paragon City, making travelling a lot easier. The devs have said they're going to work on the places you can go, too, so soon the teleporters will probably get revamped.
Our base infirmary. When heroes die, they usually go to a hospital. Supergroups with infirmaries however get to have heroes go to the bases instead of to the hospital. That floating mechanical thing gives out inspirations (30 second powerups), and there's a table off to the left of the shot that has enhancements (permanent powerups for powers).
Our workshop! Center top is our inspiration storage; it's like the inspiration seller in the infirmary, except players stock this one. On either side of the room are the enhancement tables, salvage racks, workshop tables, and empowerment stations for each base style-- arcane is on the left, and tech is on the right. Behind the inspiration storage is the path to the very nondescript (and unphoto'd) energy room.
The Great Hall, or as most members like to put it, 'The Church' =P. It's very grandiose, yes, and might be replaced later, but for now it's going to be used if we ever need to have a huge SG meeting for whatever reason. For now, I just like the grandiosity of it. It's like a display of wealth.
Well, that's all of the base. It's a very useful thing, and those who have gone inside it and looked around described it using various synonyms for 'really good.' Also, if any of you are considering starting up a CoH subscription, feel free to ask about joining the ToC-- we're really a great group of people, and there's almost always someone online.
