Yeah, a few people do know about my sick, twisted little project. Basically, I'm going to try and do a little fan-comic/fan-interperatation of Awesome Possum. Nothing I can do to the concept could possibly make him any worse off! I mean, he's infamous for being the worst blabbermouth with the shoddiest game next to ET! Some doodles based off the game's design. Roughly, anyway. Since it's just crazy to talk to yourself AND he did indeed have a big family, why not have some be around? I'm kicking around having the little sister be a communications provider and the other sister could just be around kicking robotic cans. And Awesome meets his new friend the spider =D! What style would one think would be for visually appealing for a comic thing? The more squished traditional Awesome or the more detailed bigger Awesome? No, he does not die in the end.

Cop-out answer: Whichever one you have more ideas for.
Considering you went to the trouble to design a new model for the character, I'd say you should go with that.

I know I played Radical Rex when I was little. The level made entirely of bones was just... depressing to me back then. HIS WORLD IS ENDING ZOMG THE PAAAAAIN~! But at least he never made friends with mutant death bees. I hates that bee... It's not a question of design or not, really, but a matter of height. While having a mutant biped possum is freaky anyway, does he lend himself more to normal proportions or slightly small 'I'm a cartoon =D!' styling. I refuse to give him a round butt like the original sketches of him had. He's just so horrible XD...

"You're not so awesome!" Best insult ever. It's one of those things that sticks with you forever.
Your drawings are pretty cool. As for the comic, I'd think that he'd probably be about Sonic-height; somewhere in the vicinity of 1/2 to 3/4 the height of an average human.

Yeah, I think I'll stick more toward the 'zomg short D=' range. It makes him more huggable, and being a violent eco-terrorist...
I can cameo the original animals, but I'll be damned if the death bee gets much of a showing. I do not like him. Plus, there's already the spider I did. Fuzzy spider. It does not eat rabbits.

This should be close to what I'll do... still short (actual comparison shot I did has him about 3.5ft), but more toward my style angle. While his mask SHOULD be brown, I like it black d00d. Edit: Just put the finished one up. AND IT STILL KICKS ASS. MWAA HAA HAA HAAAA-ck!

"Caught while violating my secret love, oh no!"
But actually that's quite wicked work. I like the bubble helmet in particular. (Can't help but think of Crabmeat when I see that giant crab robot, though.)

If there's a bubble helmet...why is he still giving off air bubbles?

GIANT ENEMY FSDKJSBMSL.
But anyway, just the fact that you're making such a well-drawn comic about such an obscure and infamous game is pretty awesome.

I know the crab's a giant horrible ripoff of crabmeat XD it was just all I could think of at the moment. Doom crab with giant lights! Its eyes also shoot lazers, but those wouldn't work so hot underwater. As for the bubbles... I don't know ask the animator that drew them in. I'm just trying to be passably accurate. I think my manta looks cooler ;_; and making Awesome -not- bowlegged improves his design exponentially. Speaking of design, think it looks decent enough without ruining his 'roots' as it were? It's along the lines of SA Sonic... a little taller, tweak a couple things, actually bother drawing a few details in... or am I desecrating an inafmous icon too badly, if that's even possible XD? WHEEEEE~! He got sisters and a buttless possum !

*tweak* laser is spelled with an S...it's an acronym...Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. Who's ever heard of Zdimulation Emission? NO-ONE! It's "laser". There. *untweak*

Well, MINE uses ZIMULATION. It's way more rad, and the only way to even try hitting something Awesome with. Fo' real!
I never did know it was an acronym. It's out for using in Scrabble, then, eh dude =D?
Anyone interested in giving feedback on my hare-brained idea of a plot? Basically, it takes place when Awesome finally kicks Machino. It is revealed that noone actually understands possum-speak, so Machino lumbers off and calls animal control. He is a dangerous animal, after all, though noone believes he blew the stuffing out of Machino's stuff (whom will be reimbursed by insurance anyway). So one of his sisters busted him out before he is exterminated, and he has wacky adventures while staying clear of the law. Because he IS a damned tiny eco-terrorist.
And yes, this does include something involving the giant spider, though it doesn't really talk =D.

I still can't string plots together decently, though, or at least just not to my own standards. Like I can draw these fuzzy things, but at drawing archetechture or mechanical objects I'm quite bad. It's not a problem if you just have woodland creatures punching the bejesus out of each other, but...
TELL ME I'M PRETTY!

Well, I suppose that laser might be out, but I doubt anyone will challenge you. "Lase", however, is a legitimate word, and, if you're feeling evil, you can play "lase" and challenge someone when they play "laser". It's so deliciously evil.
I like that plot idea. It's so...role reversal.
