Is he supposed to be the guy from Time Squad? Earliest suggestions I can make are that you need to flatten his left cheek, at least down another few pixels before you bulge for his chin. And his right leg (on the left) isn't in perspective with everything else. Edit: It's not "fixed" yet, the boots look too different for example, but just to give you a rough idea of what I was saying: I started the chin bulge just a tiny bit lower, and moved the line for the right leg so it was bulkier and properly in front of the other. Shading still needs some work, and I gave a half attempt at boots, but I don't think they look right yet.

Thanks, I wasn't really sure what I needed to do to make him better, since I'm just getting into sprites. He's not supposed to be from anything really. Just me drawing random sprites. I'm thinking of making a game where you play an up and coming superhero. You know playing challenges to increase your heroes abilities and such. [Edit] Here's another one. Something doesn't quite look right about it.

That's fine, originality is good. I just thought he vaguely resembled it, but it's not that close all things considered.
As for Sonic... hm... he's supposed to be looking up, or is he looking right at us? That affects things a bit.

It reminds me of this Chao Garden sprite, ripped by Oshtoby. I'm not saying "copy it", but I think it should give you a few ideas about proportioning and shaping a bit better. Things to watch include the size of the torso, the fullness of the head, a more natural bend to the arms and legs (if he's just standing around, I don't think his legs would bow like that), and the positioning of the pupils is really important on a sprite, where a pixel difference can change where he's focusing. Putting them up at the top of the eye like that generally gives the impression that he's looking upward.

He's based on me looking at that awesome 3d image of sonic... you know... that one... thats really really coool.
Yeah. That one.
Well it's clear my sprite doesn't quite match. At the moment it's sort hit or miss on my sprites they are either good or they suck horribly.
If you want to see some good and suck sprites you can always check out my amazingly secret hoaxy thread "New Anime Rally?" where I posted a bunch of Anime-Rally-like-sprites I made.
