A little more than a year ago, I posted something about my newest "SonKnuck Adventure" game. Meaning SonKnuck Adventure 3. I had mentionned that I was planning to have a few fellow Moogle caverners show off. Since then, I have given no news of such. Bad me! In all truthfulness, development has been rather slowl, but I AM working on it. Now, since I recently released a new demo a few weeks ago, I think it's simply justice that I show it off here. Yes. I am aware of a few bugs in the game, but bear with me, it's just a demo and sometimes, somethings will slip and I won't notice right away. Like the stop dead that happens once in a while and shouldn't since I asked it to NOT happen... but that will eventually get fixed. Yes, I know some of you despise click games, but please... no "YOU SUCK! YOU SHOULD USE THIS OR THAT!" because I am probably fully aware of "this" or "that" but have no way of either A) Getting it. or B) The patience to understand it. So, with no further waiting, before you decide to download, a few screenshots made specially for the show off! A very simplistic title screen... A very simplistic Character select... H-hog represents Moogle cavern players The first stage is the Moogle Cavern! SonKnuck meets up with a few Caverners SonKnuck seems to be trapped in a cult! This is in no way related to the Moogle Cavern. H Hog got through! ... Through what? SoFox! Where are you going? Gooooooooooo HHOG! Oops! And now, what you all have been waiting for. THE DEMOHmmm... Looking a second time at those screenshots... I am not sure I am happy of the result that came out of them...

Okay... why is there voice acting for only 7 or 8 lines?
Also, is there any way to skip that intro?

Okay... why is there voice acting for only 7 or 8 lines? Also, is there any way to skip that intro? Because that's a recap from the previous games and there was no voice acting in the other recapped scenes(game) and also the ones doing the sonic characters voice let me down back then... To skip... Press Enter! (duh!)

Seems like there are a few problems with aerial movement against walls. You can very well stick to the wall and just run like you're on ground if you hold the arrow of the direction of the wall. You're gonna need to work on that.
Also, I just got to the boss for the MC path. How on earth are you supposed to beat it? You can't jump on it.

The bosses are not beaten the traditional way. Find out. Where's the fun if I tell how to do everything? Trust me, you CAN jump on it. But you have to figure out "when" As for the wall walking in mid-air trick... that's a forever bug I have never found how to fix... mainly on the sides of the frames.

Well, I figured out how to beat it on the SK path, but there aren't any torches on the MC path.

Who said the way was the same on the MC path? You can figure it out, I know some people did without having me tell

Huh. Just got through the MC path. The boss method was as I thought it would be. Now I just need to get past the second levels for SK and AK...
EDIT: I got to the third SK level, but I die right when I enter the first tube. Why is that?

Two words: Not again! I could have sworn I had managed to fix that... alright I'll check it. In the mean time, enter the tube very slowly, it should help you avoid dying.

Neat! One or two bugs, got stuck in the wall behind the extralife in SonKnuck's second level, and the damn StickyKeys dialog kept comming up. Othewise nice going, best of luck and thanks for the cameo!

I... really haven't a clue how to beat the boss on the MC path. No matter if I hit him with the fire on or off, I still lose my rings... c_c;;Waaaait... I think I got it now... kinda weird and a little tedious (how many times am I supposed to hit that thing!), but I think I got it. (EDIT 2: Hah, the rest has lives to worry about. XD) On a side note; I'm obviously willing to voice act for my own lines, and probably Sonic too if you need lines for him. And if you need a better "choose character" sprite to convey H Hog with, here y'go... =P

8 hits are all you need for the first bosses of the MC path. And don't fall on it. That boss is greedy, it eats your rins no matter what. They're really there just for points in the score XD
As for the voice lines, that could be fun. No need for Sonic, his appearance in the intro is only a recap of the past 2 previous "SonKnuck Adventure" games. I know I could get Jamie to do Amykal, since she's the one who did it last time.
As for the reported bugs, I'll check into them and do my best to fix them. The jump key will probably change on the next demo, cause I agree with SoFox, the StickyKey dialog box is annoying.
The next demo will contain 3 stages and 3 bosses for each character. MC Path: HHog gets stage 1 and 3, SoFox gets stage 2.
. . . .

Ok well... I managed to finish a new demo with fixed bugs, however, there is still ONE - ANNOYING - BUG! The very one I've had in the past games and now I'm sick of being unable to fix it...
It is what James first described, sticking to the wall and run on it mid-air, may it be the wall or the side of the frame... So now, I need YOUR help! I tried everything I could think of to fix this, but I've run out of ideas, so if anyone can tell me how to correct that, you are more than welcome.

If I'd check this forum more often I could've told you it then! I have yet to try the demo, but it sounds like you've hit the ol' CnC/TGF/MMF bug when using the default "platform movement." There are two fixes: 1.) Don't use "platform movement" 2.) [two parts to this fix] - a.) Remove the "Stop [movement]" event that occurs when the player-character leaves the play area. - b.) Place quick backdrop objects set to "solid" just outside of the play area.
