While Blaze and folks get snow, we here in PA are getting unusally WARM weather - even the coldest days are "Above average" temperatures, and we broke a "record high" at least once this month. Yup. Took these shots during like the one and only "snow" kind of day we've really had so far in western PA: As you can see... "pfft" But truth be told, even in our worst blizzards, they might tangle up rush hour and instigate a school delay, but usually by noon it jumps to like 35 degrees (Fahrenheit) and it's over... maybe sometime in January or February we might see a few bad ice days... but yeah, bleh.

LOST PLANET: EXTREME CONDITION In most places it was up to my knees. A couple of spots it was nearly up to my waist. If I dug around enough I could probably find drifts even higher. Mom's car. It was a very jovial atmosphere. Lots of people were out and about, shoveling and walking their dogs and the like. Hardly any cars on the street. Somebody's Compact stuck in the middle of the street. Couple minutes after I took this photo, the dude who owns the car trudged down the hill and started digging it out. They're declaring this the third largest snow in Denver history. 25" in most places, up to 30" in some.

I'm never going to get snow here. Living on the coast of California kind of gets you used to that little part of reality.

I. SO. Hate. You. Guys. I want snow. ;_; In addition to that, all we got was stupid freezing rain that didn't last, stupid Portland. (Still the greatest city in the world regardless.)

It's raining right now. Curse you Global Warming! We've gotten one snow squall in fall. It was less than a centimeter. Blagh.
