I...Sonic panties.
That more or less completes the whole thing right there.
Also, Mirai: Never, never, NEVER say that again.
Never.

Neil: What's your devArt account? I'd love to read the commentary you've written on the given pages.

Nice! It's like reading Behind-the-Scenes and In-the-Making stuff, complete with drafts and original drawings! ;D

I...Sonic panties. That more or less completes the whole thing right there. You would buy Sonic the Hedgehog panties too?

.....maybe.
For my potential girlfriend.
Since, y'know, she'd love that kind of thing.

My girlfriend would kill for Sonic panties, to be honest. She loves the 'hog.
Great work Neil-- you're doing an awesome job so far.

The Sonic panties... don't ask me to explain that. You know I can't. It just... came to me. Like some kind of LSD vision. Anyway, here's page 19: I really, really like this page, so say nice things about it.

Wait. If you're trying to follow the game really closely, won't Sonic have to go back to the areas he just passed in order to go back in time in them and make good futures?

I'm skimming a bit with that. Tidal Tempest, Quartz Quadrant and Wacky Workbench is where he will do the good futures (as they have no storyline elements), and overall, I'll put forward the idea that he's done that everywhere else. Even if it hasn't been shown.
I am, however, thinking of cutting the Special Stages entirely. What does everyone think of that?

*Just noticed page 19*
Now, THAT is spiffy.
And ja, I would suggest avoiding the special stages in the comic. After all, how do you work what happens in them into the plot? Sonic sees UFO. Sonic chases UFO. Sonic smashes UFO. Sonic gets pretty stone from UFO, repeat. I'm guessing that there will be a past zone somewhere in the comic? Perhaps you might have a gag reference to the "R2" zone?
