That really isn't surprising J, not everyone's incredible at Smash Bros. I think I've only got to Crazy Hand once or twice in my life outside of event mode, and even in event mode I required help from a far more skilled friend.
The game is fugging hard.

I only beat Crazy Hand on Event 50...I may have done it on Classic mode but I only remember doing it on 50.
That and the Marth vs. Link events SUCKED. And the Ness vs. 7 impossible opponents one.
My sister and I busted it out and started duelling an hour ago...I picked characters out of the norm after doing one match with my main characters, the Climbers. I did Link, whom I am okay with, then Zelda/Sheik, who I was great with against my sister (who has really improved her playing somehow) but failed miserably against actual opponents...then Samus. Samus was always my second-best. I am gonna try and mess around with another character after she gets back to finish the match.

Smindas: I'm not incredibly skilled at it, either. I haven't played the game in years, but I could definitely beat down both Master and Crazy Hand given a chance.

Not anything unique with Smash Bros, I just play it casually

So... yeah, just noticed this blurb in the January EGM... who checks this stuff? I realize it was probably close to deadline, but...
"[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]
The latest trailer of this four-way fighter (check it out a tGameVideos.com) reveals another member of its cast: Fox McCloud. He was actually part of the original Smash Bros. roster, but ditched out of the sequel to appear in two so-so Star Fox titles for the Cube."
...
Isn't he part of the DEFAULT CAST even?
Also, a little side blurb, mentioning his taunt, you know, the one that's very similar to his one in Melee...
"During the game, Fox gets all Morpheus and taunts with a "just bring it" gesture. The Matrix is so played out, Mr. McCloud."
And that'd be more like Neo's taunt than Morpheus', anyway...

I've gotten to Crazy Hand twice. Never beat him. I almost got to Giga Bowser in Adventure Mode (I faced off a slightly different colored Bowser) but I didn't meet the requirements to make him transform into his Giga Form.

Currently I can't play SSBM very well, since I don't play it any more. 1 player gets kind of boring after with Melee. I should try beating it on very hard with Jigglypuff some time.

Your friend's probably pretty good then. Beating it on very hard with Ganon would make more sense now that I think about it. Jigglypuff isn't bad with her sleep attack and b down move. But Ganon....he looks like a badass and has some powerful attacks, but on the other hand he's really slow. I guess if you use the dodge attack a lot you can get by...but I couldn't imagine using him as a main character.

Oh, he's very good with Ganon. Won a tourney with him, IIRC. And Jigglypuff is one of the best characters there are, though hard to master-- she's got excellent air superiority. It's kind of humiliating to get beaten by a huge puffball every game, though ;P

Beating the double master hand straight up (I don't know -- are there any cheap tricks? I assume with Fox there probably are...) with a character is my personal judge of skill, though. It's really become trivial to me in the recent weeks; I think a much better judgment of skill would be killing Giga Bowser. Giga Bowser? You mean the one you Down+B with Jigglypuff a lot?

But that's a cheap trick. One could just as easily play as Ganon against the Hands and instant win. I'm talking about other characters, who don't have Jigglypuff's awesome-yet-perfectly-timed move =P

On that note, you guys make me feel special for not only having every character and level, but having gotten every trophy legitly - which is a daunting task, as it puts forth on you goals such as "Beat this mode on the highest difficulty" and "beat this mode without getting hit, ever."

I play as Kirby and taunt constantly. And when I feel like being an ass, I inhale opponents, jump off the edge and let them break out and fall to their doom as I float back up. Hi~! Hi~! Hi~! Hi~! Hi~! Hi~! Hi~! Hi~! Hi~! Hi~! Hi~! Hi~! Hi~! Hi~! Hi~! well at least it's not Yoshi's flutter sound
