...Alien Syndrome.
Oddly enough, it is also coming out on the PSP, a lot like Metal Slug Anthology. This is especially odd as Sega only just reveled plans to make games based on the Alien movies as well.
A couple screenshots at the link, which remind me of marvel Ultimate Alliance for some reason:

In news completely unrelated to yesterday's SEGA Alien announcement, the company has revealed its set to bring an update of the classic Alien Syndrome to Wii and Playstation Portable in summer 2007.
Developed by Totally Games, this ground-up reworking will offer a fast-paced action-RPG experience in two different flavours: a promised "dramatic and engaging" single-player campaign rubs knuckles with a multiplayer mode for up to four gamers.
Playing as Earth Command Trooper Aileen Harding (she's "strong and enigmatic", apparently), gamers can expect to battle through a variety of different enviroments, including bizarre alien planets and infested spaceships. Quite what the infestation entails, we're not sure, but it might have something to do with the hundred-odd aliens and bosses you'll do battle with.
At the risk of regurgitating the entire press release, players can also select from a wide roster of character specialties and skills, building their stats and abilities as the game progresses. There's also a variety of melee and ranged weapons on offer to eek out that extra-terrestrial menace, inlcuding flamethrowers, quad-barrelled lasers, nanobot swarms that dissolve enemies and incendiary grenades, designed to unleash fire geysers.
In terms of platform specific features, the Wii version of Alien Syndrome will unsurprisingly make use of the console's unique controller during fire-fights. The Wiimote also comes in handy when crafting new items, enhancing existing items and character abilities, as well as hacking into computers. Meanwhile, the PSP version supports wi-fi multiplayer for some honest to goodness on-the-go slaughter.
According to Larry Holland, president and creative director of Totally Games, Alien Syndrome "offers a refreshing blast-athon on a venerable classic. As well, it has allowed us to exercise our science fiction chops to the fullest to create a totally involving futuristic action-RPG game experience."
