Yup, in the interests of science/being nosy, I put to you the question: What online games/MMOs/whatever are you playing right now, and what is your screenname in such places so other MC members can find and annoy you? I have no idea who's playing what, if indeed, anyone is playing anything at all. It cannot hurt to ask, eh? You can find me on Guild Wars, Maple Story and in addition I'm working on a pretty hefty RO server christened 'Sex Ed'. I also have an FFXI account but I get around to playing it once in a blue moon on account of it being confusing, tedious and lonely. Guild Wars: Rosetti Kurosawa (mo/w), Boogiepop Darf (w/r) Maple Story: Rosetti (Warrior) Zing!

World of Warcraft has more staying power for me at the current moment, despite my laptop apparently unable to handle graphical processing with a dual hard drive, thereby flipping out the terrain textures.
I also play Guild Wars, but the texture quality goes even more to crap on said laptop, so I might reserve that for when I can use the more powerful computer we have here.
I'm also thinking of picking up City of Villains when it comes out, considering I could probably come up with five good villain ideas for every one good hero.

An evil RO server with a neat sorta-local friend. We're going to terrorize people in Nebraska sometime =D!
Yeah, I'm a cheapass. But granted since I don't get much time to play (artwork, work, social life) I'm not plonking any money down.
Besides, I like RO's style. Nice scenery.

...yeah. I played PSO:BB during the Open Beta Demo, under the name "SoNick" If I had employment (or any other continuous source of money, but employment is the most logical source), then I'd pay for a hunter's liscence, and I'd be playing right now. As "SoNick." Sure, I'd have to find a way to get more items (Near the end of the Beta, I gave all of my items and Meseta away to some random person), but still, it's a fun game.
Other than that, I really don't play MMORPG's that much.
I quite honestly find the whole pay-to-play situation to be retarded. I mean, really. You've already payed for the game, and you're already paying for your internet connection. Isn't that enough for a single game?
Meh, it's a moot point, and I know that it's not going to change. Pay-to-play means that the companies make extra money off of games, and it would be kind of stupid to expect game-making companies to end a practice that makes them money.
So...yeah. There's my mini-rant about why I don't play most MMORPGs. If anyone knows of a good MMORPG that's not pay-to-play, then I'd like to hear about it.

Yeah, one reason I play Guild Wars is the lack of monthly fee - you pay the retail price you'd pay for a normal PC game and that's it. Which is the way it should be as far as I'm concerned. As for an RO server, I'd really like to find a decent mid/high rate server to play on. As noted I am making my own, but playing RO is one thing, working on it is another XD Also, it won't get done for ages, since we have big ideas but our design 'team' spends a lot of time doing idiotic things like this:

City of Heroes, Guardian, Bloody Duke
I've yet to find a MMO as enthralling as CoH, and the forthcoming CoV makes the deal much sweeter, since you pay the same monthly price even if you have both of them.
EDIT: Wow, I shouldn't type when I've just woken up.

I have Guild Wars, but I think it's boring and uninteresting.
World of Warcraft is fun, being a Paladin stinks at 60 though.

I play "Dark Sabator" on guild wars, but not very often. Guild Wars just doesn't keep me interested, mainly because I can never party up with anyone. I run around looking for someone to party with and everyone is fucking trading.
Regarding the monthly fee of MMORPG things, do you guys realise how much it costs to run a server holding as many people as some MMORPG servers do? WoW has loads of servers, all with huge capacities. I think PSO is a little overpriced at the moment, having only 1000 people on the server at peak time these days, compared to like 6000 during beta time. Still, the cost of running a server holding 1000 people is enormous, expecially for an action-orientated game like PSO. On top of that, you now have server-side saving. Guild Wars gets around this problem by not having you actually on the server when outside the town. They only have to run servers for the various towns, and they therefore can make that much money through single game sales. When game sales start to dry up, they'll still have enough green to keep the servers running, depite a slight loss of profit.
So, yeah. The only thing I actually play regularly is PSO BB (And I'm loving it, never played a PSO game for this long before, due to various reasons (parent losing credit card, suddenly switching from 56k), etc.

I used to be good at Elite Force II online, but I got tired of it and now I suck. A long time ago I did a lot of Starcraft and Warcraft. Mostly now I just emulate old games, since most modern MMORPG/Online games don't feel incredibly appealing to me.

You don't like repetively hitting things with blunt objects? Bleeeh!
It really is more fun with friends. Then you get to make odd speech slips and all that.
Warcraft hates me.
Edit: Darth, that's a weird RO server name. That's all I'm saying.

I play RO on a server called XaosRO. If you just happen to play on that my name is none other than Milo.
I also play on MapleStory. Mylo is the name there. I'm still a beginnger. T.T I've just got my archer to a bard on RO and I've been working on getting Elven Ears.

I play maplestory in Bera under the name Blitskrieg. I'm about to make the second job advancement (I'm level 29 but need to be level 30 to make a new advancement) as a bandit.

I've been playing FlyFF alot. My main motivation for lvling is to get to 20 so I can fly and taunt newbs from above It's been awhile but I sometimes get on the RO server XeRO. And strangely enough, I was on one of my old friends' Graal private server yesterday. There were actually a few people on then but no one now.
